Everytime de Blasio gives a press conference life gets pushed farther out. Today he announced cancelation of the June parades. I agree with him however life as we know it, keeps getting pushed back. If they don't open beaches there is no way they are going to allow cruise ships to dock. NJ Governor is on the same page as New York so I can't see Cape Liberty opening if N.Y. doesn't.
as a jersey resident who does business in the city, we have the 2 biggest idiots leading us!

Oh...ok my Jersey Shore friend from Long Branch.
I can't get my deposit back and walk away without ever cruising in the future. I wish I could get the 3 person x $250 = $750
I wish I could get it all back and just walk away.

not sure if you didn't have a budge but ive stayed at the intercontinental (now the royal sonesta) and the four seasons both and were awesome.. the four seasons is way out there and not close to the ships at all.. hopefully its not the same bed from years ago lol but my wife and i say that was the most comfortable bed we've ever stayed in at the intercontinental.

If you talk to staff, ranging from the most senior officers you will not hear them talk greatly about Pinacles. Again, a lot of them, not only cruise on chapest fares but on top of it try to find reasons to complain about something to receive on board credit etc and behave as if they own the ship. I will repeat again, it's not all of them but the majority which also the crew members repeated when talking with them about this subject.
are they any relation to the group that wears pins stating their status? lolol

no loss there! lol

if they can't sail this year because the virus is still dragging on, well have much bigger problems like the economy would be so badly ruined at that point I'm sure not many people will even be thinking about cruising

We have been cruising for 30 years.but why is only 1 ship registered in the US? Taxes. If the cruise lines want taxpayer money, they should pay their share. Oh, that would mean having to pay the crew what they deserve. Will never happen.
would you be happy paying significantly more for your cruise due to this? i think we are all happy with cheap cruise fares.

if i was anyone to be concerned it would be royals lenders and not so much royal.. what bank wants to be stuck with a few hundred million dollar ship in an industry that is getting killed? pretty sure they could call someones bluff and say ok take it...

we did a floating cabana 2 weeks ago.. was amazing! we originally booked it for 1500 and had multiple price drops, we paid $1000 about 2 weeks before we left... the service, the food, the drinks, were spoiled and don't think we could stay in coco cay again with out the floating cabana. divided by 7 people wasn't bad at all.. we has lobster, filet, etc.. was specialty restaurant quality food..

I agreed with you until that final (underlined) claim.
You understand that decisions like that are made in conjunction with the Miami office, right? It was a mistake or miscalculation - simple as that.
hes directly responsible for passenger lives, not someone in the C suite. and if miami told him to proceed he though he shouldn't have then he should have been fired and taking them to court.. what jury is going to rule against a captain when he says i didnt want to put 6000 people at risk?
Oasis still coming to Bayonne??
