  1. Maybe I’m looking at this wrong, but it appears they are missing a davit for the additional life boat. There is a need for two davits on either side to secure the lifeboats in place, but I’m not seeing that. I see enough to hold the smaller speed rescuer and the smaller life boat, but no additional davit to secure the left side of what would be the larger lifeboat. However, I do see the additional David to secure the right side. Again, I may be mistaking, and I’m only curious as I was looking to reserve a cabin in this area. Any additional info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  2. They have them at most of the bars... Included with the Cheers beverage package

Hi SID, LUVIN your reviews!!! Yaaaas, I've read multiple reviews today and I've been thoroughly entertained by them all. Thank you for the smiles, laughs and the heartfelt moment with your special lady.

My question, I understand the coconut water is part of the CHEERS package, but will you find out what the cost would be without it? Thank you in advance.

  3. True - I guess I misspoke. Happens a lot. :') But either way, I hadn't sailed with Carnival since 2014, and got the Premier offers in 2017. We ended up taking the Premier Getaway cruise, and I ended up with over 7500 points on the 4 night sailing. Was hoping for an Ultra (or Elite - whichever one is lower) offer, but nope. But they do keep emailing me Premier offers and offers for free balcony cabins on sailings with about 2 weeks' notice. Of course, once I'm retired in August and have unlimited vacation time, those will stop. ;p

Can you tell me the perks you received while on your Getaway?

  4. We saw them everywhere but the classic cars looked better so that was our mode of transport.

Hi there! Thanks for the response. We are actually booked for a classic car tour upon arrival, but due to time constraints, we had to cut our tour shorty by an hour, as we have an excursion that evening. We didn't want to be stressed by having only an hour to get back onboard, eat dinner, shower and get dressed for Tropicana. As a result of cutting the tour short, we will not see Christ of Havana nor El Morro, so we were looking into hopping in a tuk tuk to get across the river the following morning, to visit those 2 sites after our morning walking tour.

  5. Yes! I’m elated you’re doing this and Thank You. Will you please post the cruise compass for your trip? We leave in less than a month and are trying to make plans onboard and off the ship. Also, if you’re doing an excursion and you’re by chance near the old vintage cars, can you check the pricing on their tours and whether they take USD or CUC? I hear they offer good deals. Thanks!
