  1. Hi, Tom and I are on this cruise along with my sister Patti and Richie. We are celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary and they are celebrating their 50th. They have a B2B booked starting with the 10/1 to the Southern Caribbean then we will join them for this cruise. They live in Florida and we are in Indiana. I hope more join soon. Linda

  2. Sorry I haven't posted back sooner. Busy busy. The B2B I am speaking of is a 10 day Southern Caribbean followed by 10 day Eastern Caribbean. it would be Fort Lauderdale coming and going. Not sure yet if I can get the timeoff of work for both. My sister and her hubby are doing both. I figured I would book it because the deposit is small and in a few months I would know if I could take it. If not I would cancel 1 cruise. Thanks. Linda.

  3. When is the best time to see the Northern lights?

Do you miss a lot if you don't do the land portion? We can't do a lot of walking so I thought Denali would be beautifyl to visit but was concerned with the walking.

What about the high terrain? Such as in Colorado some people have breathing problems. Is it the same in Alaska?

  4. Do you have to wake up early and get out of your cabin or can you sleep in? Would the laundry rooms be available. What would you do all day? Do you have to get off the ship. Any other info would be appreciated.

Do you have to do 2 muster drills? Thanks. Linda

Yeah, that's me...and yes, there was alcohol involved. Also from our Dream cruise.

This is one of my favorite and unique shots from our cruises. I took this just prior to launching on the zip line at Labadee in 2007, on our cruise on the Explorer of the Seas.

There is no amount of money that you could pay me to zip on this.

  6. I have never cruised on RCCL before (Celebrity, Prinsess and Disney) but here is my experience. The prices are very competitive. What I did was price what I wanted on the ship. Then when I was in port in St. Maarteen I went to Perfume Palace. I checked the prices there and then saw it was $5 dollars more. Not sure if she just was in a real need for a commission but she gave it to me for the ships price. That being said, the ship prices were pretty good.
