  1. Happy wife happy life! If you would have forced her to move trust me you would have heard about it ALL NIGHT LONG. It was a simple request but as some have mentioned the manner of the request makes a difference sometimes, not to mention if she was happy where she was and did not desire to move someplace else then she was perfectly within her right. There are quite a few factors in play here but from the way that my father and grandfather taught me, if you stand up for her and make her happy she will in turn appreciate it and make you happy as well! That said I would have politely declined and relaxed and watched the show with my wife!

  2. Please listen to what everyone has said here, you can do searches on this and other forums and you will find people that did and did not listen to the advice that you were given. We have found that arriving one day early removes the stress of trying to rush around. We arrive a day early, check into the hotel and have a nice meal somewhere. The next morning get up repack everything and either drive or catch our ride to the cruise terminal and we do not have any stress and have already started to be relaxed and enjoy our time together already. The anxiety is gone and we know that we don't have to sweat trying to make it to the boat on time. As someone has said most of the time things go right, but what happens if you arrive but you're luggage doesn't? At least arriving a day early allows them the chance to get it to you before you sail. The small amount of money that you will save from flying in the day of is absolutely not worth the stress and strain that you may find yourself under. A few hundred bucks is worth it, you may be able to cut it out somewhere else in the cruise.
