A sparkly top in salmon and a pair of Capri's is all it takes these days on most mass market cruise lines to be elegant.

Skittles would have been fun to find in basket, we never found a sweet treat in ours. 

Who remembers the complimentary bath gift baskets with razors, toothpaste, headache and flu medications and .50z bottles of Caress Bath Exfoliator with Shea Butter and Brown Sugar Beads? Those were the days.

We love porthole cabins and think Carnival made a mistake with Mardi Gras Class. I guess it's Vista and Dream classes for us with a Spirit Class ship thrown in for good measure once in a while.

They checked our photos carefully. There seems to be some appeal to that specific app that makes them scrutinize them. They stared hard at my hubs before looking at the app photo.

We liked going to the Afternoon Tea at least once every cruise. The finger sandwiches were tasty and the wonderful selections of desserts always hit the spot. Hopefully Carnival will be back to full staffing soon and not overextending crew contracts as long as 8 to 10 months and then some of the services we've come to love about Carnival will be revived.

We're aboard Panorama now and the Pizzeria del Capitano place is doing the same thing, only open 19 hours instead of 24. Carnival will have to change their popular marketing strategy of offering pizza 24 hours a day.

I won't know the specific directive until we board, just like this example.

There's not really a ton of paperwork, it's through my travel CC and fairly painless and I have used it in similar situations. It's worth a few emails for the $100 after taxes and fees. Might as well take advantage of all my card features.

 

This was one of the options I discussed with my wife. It's definitely worth it for the private beach because the public beach is non stop harassment. I'm totally fine with this but it's her bday and she obviously wants the opportunity to stay the night if possible since it's her first visit.
