  1. On Majestic now and they are enforcing the "no reserving" theater seats, and shows are full, including many premier package folks using theirs.
  2. Are on Majestic now, and the reserved seats are a huge benefit for the production shows, which have been, without fail, filling up. They release them five minutes prior to show time. Last night even the 9:30 showing off Fantastic Journey, which I believe is exclusive to Majestic, was filling by five minutes prior and people were scrambling.
  3. If I didn't mention, we did go into Suva to the couple of places that were open, and managed to contribute to the economy as well as bring back some of their water in the form of the pouring rain. I dont think that I mentioned Sweet Soul Music from the other night: excellent show, and the reserved seats for Premier were amazing! They have some of to the left on the lower level towards the back, but there is also a row in the center about midway that has an astounding view. They have a departing cast and an arriving cast so we are seeing both.
  4. The power situation lasted about an hour, with little side effects from the reboot into the evening, but nothing to really concern us. We had our usual time with our Concierge lounge "family" and them off to supper, the casino, nightcap and bed. The ocean decided to rock and bounce us to sleep, and it's still doing so this morning. I fear it won't be helpful for many of my fellow passengers. The cruise staff went hard to work last night adding activities for today and tomorrow, the unplanned sea days, and shore excursions are being added for the extra day at Noumea.

  6. Update: missing Lautoka and Dravuni, gaining a sea day and an overnight in Noumea, so happy to be on the Magnificent Majestic Princess! We're always happy, even with diversions and changes: Mother Nature speaks, the Captain acts, we roll with it and Crack On... you know what this means? We have to come back!!! Yay!!!
  7. It doesn't dampen my spirits at all. I'm still a happy drowned cat 🐈😻
  8. I requested through the suite Concierge once onboard. They cannot be done in advance :)
  9. We left the ship to find a rainy day, most stores closed due to Diwali and a cat 2 cyclone headed this way. After a bit of exploring and enhancing the local economy in the stores that WERE open, we made our way back to the ship and had a pleasant surprise in the room: Thank you to our casino hosts for appreciating my time there and at Bingo. 😀 Makes a lovely cruise even better! Ooo! As I was typing we had a very brief power outage; wonder if that was connected to the cyclone and shore power. They are "currently investigating", and we are on backup power.
  10. Oh, I forgot, last night in Concierge lounge was a Fiji Party 🥳 They had special drinks, themed food and officer visits.
  11. I do love ❤️ @c-boy so much! We're having the best time! This morning I saw him bent over by the door of the sweet suite picking up a letter (rather, acting like it, it was obvious he'd already had it and was resetting it, the rascal). He brought it over. It was our invite to the Chef's Table for day after tomorrow. That will be fun! Today we will be off ship in Suva pictures to follow. Today's naughty latte featured angry bird 🐦
  12. Observations of the random sort (because that's my thing 😀) The Concierge, Darko, and his staff are amazing! 👏 It seems that all or at least most of the full suite guests who frequent the Concierge Lounge have the Premier package. There is a core group of 20 of us who are in the lounge every Sebring which makes for a great time! Evening dining in Reserve has seen people dressed smart casual with no shorts or baseball caps, etc. I have not the into the MDR to see what is worn there, nor do I wish to start a dress code discussion. Just letting you know what I've seen. :)
  13. In the suite brekkie, along with happy juice (mimosa) I enjoy a "naughty latte" (with Bailey's). Check out the artwork.
