I belong to same big box travel. Tried spirits last year, was great esp. Tuscan pairing luncheon. Big box had 130 openings but only 50 to 75 attended the 4 events. Host made 400 mixed drinks at 5 course pairing- luncheon in Tuscan. Big box travel people are very helpful and spend time with you , I have talked to a few of them for 30 minutes. I never had to wait more than 5 minute to get a person on line. Celebrity people are also good agents but wait to get one might be 30 minutes.

  2. I have read on cruise critic Melbourne cruise was less rough . Rough is you can't walk a straight line on ship. I would rate a 3 on a 10 scale. It is 2 full days. I asked crew members and One said it is like this most of time, other crew said it was like this some time. It is a 1000 mile cruise to NZ.

  3. Celebrity will hold your luggage on boarding if they see an iron or other banned items on xray scan. You will go to deck 2 (I believe ) to retrieve your luggage and they will take iron or what ever ( they grabbed a bottle of vodka) and hold them till cruise is over. There were mountains of luggage , easily 200 or more pieces of luggage being held. Most hotels offer an iron so why bring a 5lb dead weight to lug around on vacation.

  4. I agree ,most of the time the price difference is of $300 or more to jump classes and is not worth it. But there are deals to be found, I have seen cruises (14 days Asian cruise) where veranda and concierge are the same price ($1600), aqua was $1800 and a suite was $2000. Also a Med cruise with same deals, all cruises were less than 90 days to cruise. I have no life so I look at least weekly. There certain cruises I have never seen a deal Alaska, Baltic, Ft Lauderdale to San Diego, and South America

  5. server told us portions were bigger than tapas. She was right. we ordered 7 samples that was plenty. then she came out with a wooden frame with 9 more samples on it. This is with meal automatically comes with it.

The suggestion to go with a group is right on.

  6. I bought a 10x25 Bushnell for $50. They can fold down to a 31/2 by 5 by 2 to fit into a included travel case. This can be attached to your belt or around your neck. It weighs less than a pound. These can found at sporting goods stores.
