  1. Happy to hear that you might take a road trip. I still wear a mas while out in stores. What I do is to look at our area positivity rate. Right now our rate is 14.4%. Therefore I wear a mask. We have not been going out at all to eat. My DH has a sister (in her early 90's) who has a large family in and out of her house. With the rate so high here, we did not visit her . Some members of the family , well did not like that we would not go. But with so many people in and out of her house with no masks. I did not feel safe. Yesterday we got the awful phone call, she is in the hospital with covid. Some one brought it into her home. (she does not got out). What I am saying is just be a careful as you feel good about doing. Every one has different levels of how they feel safe. If you can, check the positivity rate in your are and where you might drive too.
  2. WAs that in Fort Lauderdale? I was at the pier and I saw the top maybe 10 suite case slide off the pallet into the water? It would have been a Caribbean cruise.
  3. I would not worry about your TA. Do what is right for you. We were to go on MS Koningsdam 3/4/2020 to 3/15/2020 , just when covid was really starting up. We canceled it. I had that gut feeling too, about that cruise. I had really wanted to go. But for me, it just was not worth the risk. Right now we have put cruising on hold. I can't see us spending all that money and not enjoying our selves like before. I just don't want to risk getting covid on a ship. Now we are mostly at home. Maybe some day we will cruise again, but for now I will take my chances on land. We are not going out to eat, so more cooking than before. Life has changed for us, but I roll with it. Our cruise window has closed, but other doors have opened. I enjoy being home and have taken up a new hobby. For me I think, is a cruise really worth going on now? For us, no.
  4. You are very luck. I was told via E-mail from the office of Jan S. that you may ask but not always receive. They don't have enough chair is storage on the ship for everyone. I was luck too, and got a second chair.
  5. I would love to know if any one else here sews clothes for their cruise vacation. I like to sew and try to make something new for each cruise. If you do sew, what patterns do you use? Are they for pants, skirts, dresses? What do you make? What kind of fabric do you use?
