Was in Aruba via the Odyssey in January. When you exit the ship and go through the port shopping area right outside there is a taxi stand. Fixed prices listed on a large sign right there. I think it was $15.00 or $20 bucks U.S. total to get a ride for the 4 of us to Palm beach. It was a nice mini van. Lot's of mini van taxis. No uber in Aruba. When we were ready to head back to the port we simply went to the front of one of the large hotels and got the same deal on the return trip.
I took the public bus last time. The taxi was the better choice for us.
