We rented one a few years ago. The prices are unbelievable. How much is it currently?

Typically most deposits are NON-refundable. Check the fine print.

None of the cabin doors are magnetic. They are steel so magnetic things will stick to them. Imagine walking by a magnetic door and your watch and keys would stick to the magnetic door and you couldn’t move!

Unfortunately, nobody knows. It's kind of like asking how long is a piece of rope? It depends on the rope.

Just an FYI we are booked on a 7 day back to back and received a $100 OBC for the first week and $150 for the second week!

-
I received my stock OBC after about 3 weeks. The weird thing was we are doing a B2B and we got $100 for the first 7 days and $150 for the next 8 days? I'm not complaining we just usually get $100 each 7 days.
-
We were on the 11th floor close to the front of the ship and it was very quiet.
-
The entertainment on a B2B is the same. Even the jokes the CD tells are the same!
-
We try to only do B2B cruises. It saves on airfare and hotels. Sometimes our friends will join us for one of the weeks.

Me too! This next cruise is the one where I should reach platinum, so I was looking forward to priority boarding without FTTF. Midnight check-in here I come.Us too. Our next cruise is where we hit Platinum.

I’m a little picky, but I do like the prime rib, lobster, teriyaki salmon, barbecue ribs, short ribs and lots of other things!

I was just checking on excursions for my upcoming January cruise and the HMC regular cabana is listed at $359?? I’ve booked these before at $199, what gives??
Yes pricing going up. I guess it’s supply and demand. Once they can’t rent them all for a given period of time then the price will go down.

It is a good point with the buffet - there are so many items on cruise ship buffets. I wonder if they'd bother making permanent changes to the way the buffet is set up (like the room itself) or if they'll just have servers behind each counter to give you foods?
Also, I defs enjoy looking at menus and pictures of food online, so also, thank you to all you unsung heroes to post those!
We were on the last cruise on the Panorama as the pandemic was shutting down cruising. The buffet was being served by gloved crew members instead of self serve. They would give you as much as you wanted. I believe there was a lot less waste of food. I pretty confident that’s how cruising will start.

Also booking two 7 day cruises back to back they will credit $250 total obc. $100 for the first half and $150 for the second.
I wonder when this started? We have done several B2B cruises and never gotten more than $100 per leg. We always try to do B2B because it’s more cost effective for airfare and hotels.

just take a statement credit. That is what I do with my points
That's a great suggestion, but my concern is I take the statement credit, Carnival cancels, then Carnival refunds the charge to my Carnival credit card and then Barclays revokes my $200 credit and keeps the 20,000 points?
-
So I called Barclays and spoke to a customer representative, who obliviously English was not her primary language and she made it sound like we would loose our 20,000 points.
-
Correction: 20,000 points not 2000 points.
-
WE recently received our Barclays Carnival Credit card and have used it and now have enough points to get $200 off of a Carnival cruise. My biggest concern is if I pay for part of our cruise we have booked for January 2022 (final payment due Oct 2 2021) and the cruise is canceled by Carnival or us will the 2000 point be returned to the credit card for future use or will they disappear? I thought I read somewhere that it happened to a cruiser and Barclays kept the points?

Looks like Allstate reloaded these this morning! Snagged one on my account, and one on my wife's account. The confirms signal that these will be physical gift cards, not ecards. Not sure why Allstate would want to do all that shipping and handling, but, heh, I'm not complaining.
And keep your eye out on credit card offers. I just got an offer of 5% back on my citi double cash card for "online" purchases up to $500 this weekend. Think I will use that to get a $500 Carnival GC from Allstate.
Thanks! I picked one up this morning!
