Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our cruise! Only comment I would make regarding your review was that several people that we talked with in the Schooner Bar remarked that piano player, JR was much to loud. We spent a lot of time in the Schooner Bar and that was our only complaint. Server Ayu was incredible!!!

To all of you future Navigator cruisers! When going to the Schooner Bar look for a server named Ayu, she is the greatest! Tell her Uncle D says hello!

I did check with my bride about the hair dryers onboard. She advises that "yes" you must hold down the button to operate the hair dryers.

TXBBQDUDE- we just got off the ship with you and you did a great review. Totally agree with your assessment of this great cruise! We also booked the Liberty of the Seas on April 17, 2016. Take care!

We had great service in the Schooner Bar from Ayu and Alex...never even had to ask for anything!

What a great cruise! Embarkation went extremely smooth, no problems at all. Had lunch in the Windjammer and room 9337 (accessible) was ready at 1:00pm. Dinner in Main Dining Room every night except one...went to Johnny Rocket's the other night. Wife and I had purchased the Premium Drink Package and was very satisfied that we did. Exceptional service from the entire crew! Ayu and Alex in the Schooner Bar went WAY out of their way to make us very comfortable. Room Steward Jennifer was absolutely great! All in all, couldn't have asked for a better cruise. Food was great, service was exceptionally great, shows were great... Had a great time with zero complaints!!

Just returned today from cruise departing April 19th. Room 9337 was nothing short of fantastic! Very large room with huge bathroom! Shower was really great...3 different water nozzles, great water pressure, and again, HUGE! Absolutely heard no noise from anything, as Deck 9 is very quiet.
Would highly recommend...hope this helps!

Will be on Navigator next Sunday and have purchased the Premium Drink Package. I've learned I will be provided a Coca-Cola Souvenir Cup for my soft drinks. Does that mean I'll have to carry that cup around with me every time I desire a soft drink? THAT WOULD BE A PAIN!
Thanks-

Will be on Navigator April 19th and have read several post that indicate the (free) coffee is absolutely horrendous. We're considering taking our own 4 cup coffee maker along with our coffee. Good idea? Thoughts please!
Thank you!

In a related matter, we would like to use the cameras on our iPhones only! AT&T has instructed to simply put our iPhones in airplane mode and there would be no data used or possible data charges and also no roaming fees. Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks

Based on what I've read so far, I'm sure I will be bashed, ridiculed, and insulted in typical CC fashion for asking this question...but here goes.
What about breakfast or lunch in the MDR...are shorts permissible then?
PLEASE, only reply intelligently and decently!
Thank you!

Sailing on Navigator of the Seas in April and have purchased the Premium Drink Package. Like to have a Diet Coke to take my medicine with just prior to going to bed in the evening and also for the same reason when I awake in the morning. Am I allowed to take a 12 pack of Diet Cokes onboard? If not, any recommendations of how to accomplish this issue?
Thank you-

Is there a refrigerator in each cabin on Navigator of the Seas? If so, is it stocked prior to boarding the ship?
Thank you-

Thank you dpostman for your response! I really do appreciate the intelligent and helpful comments received by many. As for the others, each can read into or interpret what they may. CC is helpful in so many ways and a pleasure to be a small part of. Have a great day!

Sorry you have a problem! You are welcome to read my response in this thread.

I don't know , but I have a problem with anticipating bad service. Your going on a cruise to have a good time, why would you think about what could go wrong up front????
Call me crazy but I think you are looking for a reason to not tip
Sorry you have a problem! You're welcome to read my response later in this thread!

Sorry that instead of providing you a factual answer to your question many people took the opportunity to pass judgment and make negative comments about you.
Thank you!

In response to the couple of you that might be suggesting that I'm trying to get out of not paying the tip...you are so wrong! Wife and I have been on 5 previous cruises and have always had a great time, to which I'm sure we'll have on this upcoming cruise. Reason for my post is because we've somehow convinced another couple who've been on one cruise several years ago to join us who apparently did have an issue with their server in the MDR. Having dinner with this couple a few weeks ago, the conversation centered around our upcoming cruise and they presented the question about how to handle the issue if it occurred again. Several of you have offered intelligent solutions which I will pass onto our friends. Wife and I will certainly attempt to diffuse ant situation that may come up, and who knows, maybe their expectations were set a little too high. Looking forward to a GREAT cruise with our friends!
Thank you all for your response!

For example: Being that I have prepaid my gratuities and I happened to be waited on in the MDR and my waiter had/got a bad attitude, is there a way to reduce the amount of tip that that particular waiter would receive?
Thank you!

Departing April 19th on Navigator of the Seas. Departing on Sunday, and Monday and Tuesday are sea days. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are port days with Saturday being another sea day. Wondering what nights will be formal nights!

Would like info on the easiest and best way to get tickets for the Ice Show. Will be on in April. Will be in wheelchair if that matters!
Thank you

Sometimes there are very nice perks attached. we booked our Celebrity cruise leaving Sun. while onboard our Royal cruise a year ago. We received $250 OBC for booking onboard. This is not necessarily always the case, but it frequently is. They will transfer the booking to the travel agent of your choice if you wish (no Charge). :)
Thank you Rala for your response! We already have another cruise picked out with Royal Caribbean and are just wondering if we should book it now or wait until we are on the Navigator of the Seas in April. Sounds like you got a good deal by booking on the ship!

Trying to understand if there is a substantial benefit, or any benefit at all, in booking my next cruise while I'm currently on a cruise.
Would appreciate any info!
Will be on Navigator of the Seas in April and wife and I are interested in another cruise but not sure of the best way to book it!
THANK YOU

Just wondering if the pizza at Sorrentos is really good or not. Can you get Meat Lovers, Supreme, etc? How about a whole pizza to take back to your cabin?
Thank you
