Does anyone know if NCL serves Rum Chata?
-
you have to be super careful with the decorations if you have a balcony room, they decorated ours and every time I opened the balcony door, things would fly off the walls! lol!
-
If you prepaid it, it should have shown up on your NCL reservation page. You also would have gotten a confirmation email showing the purchase.
It should be easy to prove you purchased it.
I always print out my confirmations for everything I purchase from NCL, just to make sure If you already have this info to prove that you purchased it, then I would escalate big time.
Good luck and try to enjoy your cruise

lol!:d sounds like you'll have a rip-roaring cruise! ;)
lol!

I look forward to seeing your post. Have a great cruise.
Thanks Barb:cool:

Three person rooms have sofa by the balcony, 4 person rooms have bed by the balcony

$200 for ripped jeans?! Did you really pay that much?
Yes! But they are nice ripped jeans..lol!

As soon as you board. If you are signing up a group, make sure you have everyone's stateroom # and name.
Thank you POA1. Do you know if you can sign upon the NCL app, of do you have to go somewhere on the ship to sign up?
-
Should be able to sign up as soon as you get on board. If you can get the ships wifi before boarding then you might be able to do it from the terminal. I suggest you do it as soon as you can. Was sold out not long after sail away.

az-cruiser, don't waste your time taking pictures or worrying about what others think. Wear what you feel comfortable in and just enjoy your cruise and remember, it is all about you, not them.
Thanks NLH Arizona:D

OP, I agree with others who have said you might not be able to go to dinner in those jeans, lunch should be OK. Try one night and see, if you have to change it will only take a few minutes. As for the fashion element, ripped jeans are not my cup of tea but then again I'm old and still waiting for Leisure Suits to come back into fashion. :D
I just might do that, thanks!

On the Epic this summer, one of our party was asked to change before they would let us in to Manhattan. That was a female wearing ripped jeans at dinner. So you can be pretty sure in that venue the dress code is enforced
Bummer, thanks for the info

Ragged clothes are NOT 'super cute.' They are ragged and make people look like a street person. Funny thing about stupid questions: they get stupid answers.
A street person? So not nice.

It's 100% ok to wear those jeans anywhere at lunch or dinner. If you get any flack, which you won't, just tie a kerchief or sash around the hole and you will really be a fashion icon.
Awesome! Love this idea:D

For all the people that like to judge others clothing choices and the ones that have no fashion sense, I have decided to wear my $200 ripped jeans, and ripped pants everywhere on the ship, every day, every night. I actually went out and bought a few more pairs, just for the nay sayers here. While I will be put together nicely and wearing my expensive ripped jeans/pants, I am bringing my camera along to document my ripped jean journey. I am hoping to capture some of the nay sayers reactions, the smirks, appalled looks and see just how many places I can dine in with my ripped jeans. Look for my post in the next few weeks, it will be titled "My Ripped Jeans & I Sail The Escape". BTW, I'm old, which makes this even more fun!!!

Does anyone know when can you sign up for the "Escape The Big Top" escape room on the Escape ship?:D
-
Ok, so every woman I know is wearing jeans or even pants that are distressed, holes and unhemed at the ankle. I have one such pair of nice white pants that have holes in the knees. ( I know, nice pants with holes,,but they are super cute!) Do you think they will let me in the dinning room for lunch with these on? Same pants, in black, do you think they would let me in the dinning room for dinner wearing them?
Please no rude comments, it's a fashion thing. Thank you:o

I am trying to plan some gold and need to know how long it takes to get off the ship in Grand Cayman. Do they have to tender you in, or do we just walk right off the ship onto the dock? If they tender you in, how long does it take to get to the dock?
Thanks for your help :D

Everything you said is something you will find on every cruise line, none of your disappointments are exclusive to NCL. You will pay extra for many things on all cruise ships. The spa issue makes no sense, I have been on many ships and they give you a menu to choose from and sometimes a list of specials, all explained in detail. I'm sure they got more than 3 jars of salt scrub for $500. The spa itself charges a daily fee to use it. It stinks you were not prepared mentally for your cruise. A little research before a vacation goes a long way in knowing what to expect. The breakfast issues are unacceptable on any cruise line.

It might help if you named the cruise, date and ports.
Cruise is in November, was st thomas, and tortola, now changed to western itin. either way, they took them off my reservation 2 weeks ago and have not credited them back to my cc yet. just wondering the time frame for getting credited back.
Thanks for your help:D

I contacted ncl and was told they did the refund for the 9 sept escape on the 14 September, we got the cruise refund but not the 4 for shore excursions and dinners. After being bounced back and forth between ncl and my credit card company for a week they think that the transactions may have rejected back to them and they're searching as nobody has any idea where the money went. They can take the transaction IDs and do a trace which they're doing with mine. Give them a call as the system says its refunded and they don't realise if it's not arrived unless you tell them.

My excursions do not say refunded, they are just no longer showing up:confused:

Has anyone been refunded for cancelled shore excursions? We sail soon and our excursions were cancelled a while ago. We still have not been credited back yet. Has anyone?
Thanks:D

This itinerary is not doable on a 7 night cruise. We have been to Aruba and Curacao several times on a cruise and it's always been an 8 nt. cruise.
jakesnana, I have done Aruba and Curacao as well, but always on a 7 day. While St.Lucia is doable on a 7 day cruise, it was just a dream and it won't happen, they have already changed the itin to something much less desirable.:(

Not happy. Worst case scenario. Why not Costa Maya, Roatan? Ugh.
I agree! I was hoping for St. Lucia or Barbados., I'll see you at the bar:beer-toast:

We ate there on the Breakaway and had a fantastic dinner. The meat was perfect! salad bar was ok. I would go back for sure. From the reviews it looks like most of the bad meals were on older ships. Any one eat there on the Escape? We booked reservations for next month, hopefully its as good as the breakaway meal was
