Yes, they did. It was crazy, but a great experience. Definitely bring an old swim suit if you do it. It gets quite dirty.

Appreciate this posting and sharing. Nice video work. In June, as detailed below with my live/blog, we had five super days in Lisbon and then headed up the Atlantic Coast to NW Spain, France, etc. Great areas. Amazing history, food and architecture in Lisbon. Very classy and interesting city and region.

Lisbon was incredible! The beauty of a cruise is that we can get a nice view into the cities and decide which ones are on the top of our list to return to! We loved Lisbon and plan to go back soon, and maybe see some more of Spain as well. Both such beautiful countries.

Would it be possible to move the camera a little slower? It made me dizzy. Much to fast & jerky.
Thanks for the feedback - this was our first time trying to film vlogs. We'll definitely be slower in the future :) I'll also try to slow down the footage where I can using the video editor for the upcoming videos. Thanks again!

Hi cruisers!
We were on a transatlantic cruise in April and visited Ponta Delgada, Azores.
We put together a short video of our experience on the island. We booked the Lagoa do Fogo (Fire Lake) tour with T4W, which included an island tour and a few stops along the way, as well as a stop at caldeira velha (hot springs) and of course, lagoa do fogo.

I just watched this video detailing how terrible Princess is compared to Norwegian and have to wonder why on earth the poster would want to come back and post ANYTHING on the Princess board. Why bother with anything Princess again?
Edit: I removed the link to the video. Don't want to give them the publicity.
Our vlogs have nothing to do with our opinion of the ship. We have a lot of great footage from the ports, which is totally unrelated from the ship and can be interesting/useful for people. I really don't think there's a need to shut us out completely because we had a different experience from others and judge the rest of our experiences to be worthless.

We LOVED the NCL Getaway, it was the ship that got us addicted to cruising. A large part of the appeal to us was all of the great activities onboard!

It was about a 20-30 minute bus ride from the port, but the cruise line provides a free shuttle that runs very frequently and drops off/picks up right downtown. It is worth the visit!
