I'm sailing on the Getaway on September 5th and we booked the Ocean Blue restaurant because of all of the excellent reviews.

Does anyone have any suggestions? How are the steak/duck options? Should we go with fish?

I'm very excited about trying Ocean Blue on the Norwegian Getaway. A menu designed by an Iron Chef is a dream come true! If you've been to this restaurant on the Getaway or Breakaway and have food selection suggestions I would love to hear them! Also, is it hard to get a reservation for 2?

I'm booked for the Norwegian Getaway for Sept 2015, and I've heard a lot about the Chocolate Buffet on NCL ships. Does anyone know if Getaway does the Chocolate Buffet, and if so, if there's a particular night when it happens? I would hate to miss it!

My boyfriend and I are 25 and 28 and we just booked the NCL Getaway for September 5th! It was a great price for such an incredible, new ship and we're super excited because of all of the great restaurants and shows on board! Would be great to meet some other 20somethings!

That's such a relief! Thanks so much :) Does that mean that we don't really have to go through "customs" like at the airport every time that you leave and board the ship?

Are we able to leave our passports in the room safe for the duration of the trip? I've read that some Americans use their driver's licenses as identification when they go for excursions -- does the same apply for a Canadian drivers license or other ID? I'm nervous about the idea of going to a beach and having to bring my passport and maybe leave it on the beach...

I'm a first time cruiser and I found an amazing deal on my dream cruise, Norwegian Getaway, for September 5, 2015! This is hurricane season, so I am a little nervous. Has anyone cruised in the caribbean in September that can give their experience? I'm not so much concerned about ports being switched (the only one I care about is Nassau) I am more concerned about the top deck always being unaccesible because of rain, or the boat being really rocky and getting really sea sick. Are these concerns even realistic? Can't wait to hear your experiences!

Do Canadians have to bring passports on excursions? Have any Canadians had experience going through customs with a drivers license?
