Is there any point in purchasing water through the Fun Shop before my cruise? I understand that I can also buy it on the ship, so I'm wondering if there is an advantage of buying ahead of time?

I would never dream of using a travel agent. I love doing the research and planning myself. Booked on Carnival and it was an easy and convenient process.

Thanks for the concise and pragmatic review. I enjoyed reading it and learned a few things.

How does one go about booking them privately? I tried to book a ziplining tour directly with the local company but they wouldn't do it if I was on a cruise and they had a contractual obligation not to sell to cruise passengers.not if you consider the exact same excursion booked privately would be 20-40% less, not reallyI'm not stuck on ziplining. So, if I want to get an excursion for 20-40% off, how do I go about it? Should I walk off the cruise ship and see what the locals are offering?

Don't bother staying year the airport. The airport is actually quite close to downtown so why not enjoy being downtown instead of stranded out at the airport. Plenty of great hotels in the area. Choose somewhere near Gaslamp Quarter and you'll be fine.

Shuttle service can easily accommodate you. I think it's around $13 per person, so it's a little on the pricy side. You could take the light rail. I have done it from SEA to downtown, but the walk to the station at SEA is a bit of a hassle. Similarly, getting from downtown station to your final destination might also be a pain in the butt.

Ouch. I would have to say that you probably want to avoid taking a taxi. It will probably cost you $75.

The location is pretty tough to beat. I had a blast when I visited South Beach, but did not stay in that particular hotel.

I would not fly from Seattle to Vancouver. This will take a long time for a 25 minute flight. Going through security, customs, etc. Plus neither airport is all that close to downtown.
Social media internet package on Sunshine - any good?

Has anyone had any experiences using it? How was it for posting to Instagram?
We will be sharing 1 package among 4 of us, so I'm also wondering how easy is it to log out and back in? Is it as straight forward as logging out/in to any other app?
