  1. Here is a picture that may help - it is taken from the "public" hall way. You can see the metal door frame on the right for the door that closes off the cabin area to the public hallway.

The entrance to 6501 (the aft wrap) is straight ahead the entrance to 6499 is to the left - just out of the photo.

We loved this location - rebooked it for our August Family cruise. My son and daughter-in-law booked 6499 for the larger balcony! ;)

  2. When we cruised on the Valor in 11 and 12 we were in aft balcony Cabin 8450. We really liked this Cabin because the balcony was about 40 percent wider than the standard aft cabin balcony.

We are currently booked on the Breeze for March 2014 and thinking about upgrading to another aft cabin.

Looking at some pictures it looks like Cabins 9477 and 9474 have the same balcony lay out.

These are not the aft wraps -- they are right next to the aft wrap where the wrap cabin and the first aft cabin are separated by a non-public area, and the cabins share the "extra" balcony space.

Saw this pic on a review and thought it looked like it was the same as the Valor.

    Anyone have a confirmation?

I believe you would want 6499 or 6468.

They are the "extra large" balcony cabin - just forward of the aft wraps and the entrance to those cabins as a small common area and seperation for the hall and other cabins on that deck. We had the aft wrap in February and have it rebooked in August.

I do not see any others with the seperate entrance areas on the deck plans.

  3. I believe that there are several threads on various forums about this, and nearly all of them will tell you that if you have your phone on all the time, you will find an enormous bill when you get home. No matter what plan or carrier you have, you will still have to pay Wireless at Sea. Check their rates, not sure of their website, or maybe through Carnival.

Not true - big bills are avoidable. It all depends on your settings.

We take our "smart phones" - and they stay on because of the need to stay connected to our business. But we turn off the roaming data and push notifications.

Your "home plan" does not apply to the ship service for calls or voice mails. There is a cellular at sea fee of $2.49/minute for voice service and for our carrier (AT&T) incoming text are deducted from those in our plan and outgoing a .50 each.

  4. Here is a link to the guest services page for Cellular at Sea - the provider of cell service on Carnival ships.

    Service Requirements

The WMSatSea mobile network is accessible by most mobile phones, supporting both GSM and CDMA technologies. You must have service with one of the nearly 400 carriers worldwide that have a roaming agreement with WMS. Some prepaid phone plans by some carriers are not currently supported. Please check with your mobile telephone service provider for details.

  5. So our plans were to go to the ice cream place that we saw when we got off the bus and then catch a bus to go to the aquarium. By the way that ice-cream place comes highly recommended and apparently they are famous, we never made it there.

Little did we know that the exit of the shortcut ended up in the Swizzle. I had read from numerous reviews that this place is also famous. So we decided to stop by and eat something. We were both hungry by then.

The Menu was really neat, it was a newspaper.

Yummy!! Tom-n-Cheryl - wings at the Swizzle Inn?? ;)

  6. Pretty much all the well-deserved normal possible positive adjectives have been used for your pictorial input, so I'm now relegated to create a new one . . .

    let's see . . .

    Ubermondodynafantabulous!! :D

Or, just simply Thank You - Thank You - Thank You!

Will be using your presentation for assistance with pre-planning my own Bermuda sailing on Norwegian Breakaway in September. I downloaded the apps, bought the books, and Googled all sorts of 'schtuff' . . . but having your own personal insight will be a great pairing to what has already begun. I highly respect your opinions.

Was feeling pretty confident about some of the tour plans to propose to some others on the same sailing, as we contract a few tours to give us the most 'flavor' of the island during the time we're there. I have a strong suspicion that your input will create a few changes.

Thanks again (sincerely) for all your efforts here. :) . :)

    .

    AGREED!!!

  7. Wow, awesome photos and video. And shower in 2nd bath on 10. The balcony is huge, the one on 9 @ almost 400 sqft might be too big. lol

Are there showers in all the S6's 2nd baths?

Shaun07 may I post your visuals on the WWW on my Doc. links?

As much as we all enjoy and feed on you uploads, don't forget to have fun and relax, and stop playing CC concierge to us. lol

Happy cruising to all CCer's aboard. :)

    Thanks again

Do you know the sqft for the one on 10 - that we have the photos of??
