  1. Birth Certification Information

    The following are acceptable:

     

    • An original birth certificate issued by a Government Agency (State/County/City) or the Department of Health and Vital Statistics
    • A copy of a birth certificate issued by a Government Agency (State/County/City) or the Department of Health and Vital Statistics
    • A clear, legible, quality Xerox copy of a birth certificate that was originally issued by a Government Agency (State/County/City) or the Department of Health and Vital Statistics. The Xerox copy does not need to be notarized or certified.
    • Birth Certificate Card
    • A Consular report of Birth Abroad
    • Internationally Adopted Children (under the age of 18): If the adoptive parent was not issued a birth certificate, we will accept as proof of citizenship, a Certificate of Citizenship by the U.S and adoption paperwork. A Certificate of Citizenship is issued by the U.S once the adoption is finalized.

  2. You can purchase the sticker that goes on your sail & sign card once you board the ship. You only pay once. At the time of purchase you can purchase a Carnival drink cup for a couple of dollars off the regular price. Not everyone in your cabin needs to purchase it. About $6 a day for adults and $4 for children.

    It can be used any where drinks are sold including the main dining room except for room service.

  3. Exceptions: Guests under the age of 21 may travel without a relative or guardian of 25 years of age or older under the following conditions:

    • For both exceptions below, bookings should be carefully documented.
    • Documentation should be e-mailed prior to the cruise to individualsailingsupport@carnival.com or hand-carried to embarkation. Failure to provide documentation or not conforming to this policy will result in denied boarding and no compensation will be provided.

    Exception: Legally married couples, including same gender couples

     

    • Proper documentation must be submitted.
    • Documentation includes: marriage license issued by the County Clerk’s Office; legal proof of civil union; for newly married couples: a copy of the marriage license application or certificate signed by the official that performed the ceremony.

    Exception: Qualified Military Personnel

     

    • Applies to US Military Personnel and Canadian National Defense personnel (and their guests) of 18 – 20 years of age

  4. You can book them in there own room

    Guests 13 - 17 years of age

     

    • Can be booked up to 3 staterooms away from their relative or guardian.

    Traveling with a Minor

    When traveling with a minor where one parent or both parents (or legal guardians) are not cruising, we strongly recommend bringing an original signed letter from the absent parent(s) (or legal guardians) authorizing the minor to travel with you. This will expedite processing by the Department of Homeland Security.
