For anyone who wants a chance, try to book it now.
-
see posts 555 and 565 in this thread for very detailed photos of the layout.
Somehow I missed the living room TV my first time through. Thanks!
-
Tall-Cruiser, where was the living room tv in 11003?
-
So is the bedroom in 13002 separate or not? Can't tell from these photos.

gt ... That is where the ceremony will take place, the ship will be moved to F later. She is temporarily docked at the NCL terminal because there is space next to it for the christening festivities. They have erected a semi-permanent tent like structure next to the terminal to house everyone.
She will be moved to her new home at Terminal F for her first revenue embarkation to the Caribbean this weekend.
Got it, thanks guys!

PortMiami is a huge shipping port so not unusual to see MSC cargo ships there. Usually they are on the other side though. Might be for a photo op. Showcasing the MSC cargo and cruise empire together.
I should have added that I'm aware of the container operation at the Port of Miami. MSC ANS is docked in a cruise berth.
You're probably right, it's probably just a photo op.
On a side note, I thought MSC was going to be operating out of their own brand new Terminal F starting today. Why is she docked down at Terminal B?

On the webcam, you can see a big MSC container ship docked right in front of Seaside. I wonder why?

In that photo I do see some kind of porthole-like opening in the front corners where the **002 and **003 suites are. It will be interesting to see what's actually there if anything.

Tatiana ... The person who gave me the info is a Police officer from Australia and is currently sailing in GS 11001 where they have a Dining table but no chairs!
We talked for about an hour via Facebook messenger about some of the issues one of which was the cabins either side of him.
The people in those outer GS are not happy that they were not told about the fact that they are only 1 Bed and 1 Bath.
So far they have not had any issues with meal service in the Dining Room and have a good waiter who is on the ball.
The 1 bedroom GS problem is going to be a real mess for MSC for a year or more. When I booked all of the GS were still advertised as 2 bedrooms, but from reading here I was pretty certain that the one we booked was a 1 bedroom when I booked it, and it was still a good deal. I haven't decided whether to pursue a remedy or not. Separate cabins won't work for us because we have our two young children sailing with us. I'm not sure what I'd ask for if I did pursue it.
I do wish one of the corner suite guests would post some photos...

You don't need one. You need an original birth certificate and photo id if you don't have one.
Personally, I always recommend that people get a passport before cruising.
-
The se3 grand aurea suites in front of ship must not ready. Not one single photo.
If you look around, there are photos of a 1-bedroom and a 2-bedroom center grand suite (**001). Still looking for photos of any 002 or 003 cabins in the corners.

I tend to assume many of the problems are related to it being the maiden voyage. Those always seem to have problems. I'll be watching reviews before I make final payment in April, though.
-
Also waiting desperately to see these. I really want to know how the balcony and layout work.
Where did you see the 13003 photo? I missed that one.
There are two photos on the balcony in this post. They don't reveal much.
-
I think every single cabin has by now been displayed with pictures and videos except for xx002 and xx003! Why? What’s wrong with them?
(We have 13002 for Feb 10)
I'm in 13002 in June. I really just want to confirm that it's true 1 bedroom. Don't really care about much else.
-
I'm disappointed that we still haven't seen anything about the 002 and 003 grand suites aside from a couple of inconclusive balcony shots from 13003.
-
I like the design of the cabins, thus far. Then again I'm rarely accused of good taste. :D

I am planning on a Divina cruise and sailaway is 7pm.
We live in NYC and most likely will fly to Miami a few days in advance.
However, to look at all the options....maybe we can fly in that day.
What time does check-in end?
Fly in the night before, enjoy an evening and morning in Miami.
-
Yes, I forgot to say thank you to those of you posting photos. Thanks!
And like T-C I look forward to the corner suite (**002, **003) photos.

The rendering has a door but we're still waiting for photographic evidence.
Agreed. MSC's info has been pretty unreliable. The 2 BR has real doors, so I have hope that the 1BR does too.
-
Although the 10001 is one bed/bath is it in 2 rooms ? looking at the Sofa and the bed they are both by sliding doors.
10001 is one of the center suites up front, with 1 bed and 1 bath as you noted. Both the bedroom and the living room have sliding doors, per the cabin diagram.
My question is whether the door between the rooms is an actual door that can be closed or just an opening.

Keep in mind that there are always problems to iron out on brand new ships, and especially on the first ship in a new class.
-
Watching photos of all the various categories show up except the 1 bedroom SE3 is like torture! :D
-
There were numerous variations of several stateroom classes when we booked in 2015. MSC has said that some of the online images were not correct. They kept pushing back the release dates of some of the staterooms ... one year ... six months ... 3-4 months ... 1 month. Those moving targets have all come and gone.
Their reluctance to share details of some of the stateroom categories is odd.
-
If someone has the chance to see the stateroom in advance, at least they knew what they are getting. However, it is truly unfortunate for those who booked based upon it being represented as a suite. :loudcry:
The SJ3 whirlpool suites have had the cabin layout on the MSC website for a long time now. So far as I can tell the only real question marks now are the 1 bed 1 bath SE3 Grand suites.
ATMs on Magic
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
Every ship has an ATM, usually near guest services. They can run out of money in the middle of the cruise though, so I wouldn't depend on it.
