  1. gt ... That is where the ceremony will take place, the ship will be moved to F later.

She is temporarily docked at the NCL terminal because there is space next to it for the christening festivities. They have erected a semi-permanent tent like structure next to the terminal to house everyone.

She will be moved to her new home at Terminal F for her first revenue embarkation to the Caribbean this weekend.

    Got it, thanks guys!

  2. PortMiami is a huge shipping port so not unusual to see MSC cargo ships there. Usually they are on the other side though. Might be for a photo op. Showcasing the MSC cargo and cruise empire together.

I should have added that I'm aware of the container operation at the Port of Miami. MSC ANS is docked in a cruise berth.

You're probably right, it's probably just a photo op.

On a side note, I thought MSC was going to be operating out of their own brand new Terminal F starting today. Why is she docked down at Terminal B?

  3. Tatiana ... The person who gave me the info is a Police officer from Australia and is currently sailing in GS 11001 where they have a Dining table but no chairs!

We talked for about an hour via Facebook messenger about some of the issues one of which was the cabins either side of him.

The people in those outer GS are not happy that they were not told about the fact that they are only 1 Bed and 1 Bath.

So far they have not had any issues with meal service in the Dining Room and have a good waiter who is on the ball.

The 1 bedroom GS problem is going to be a real mess for MSC for a year or more. When I booked all of the GS were still advertised as 2 bedrooms, but from reading here I was pretty certain that the one we booked was a 1 bedroom when I booked it, and it was still a good deal. I haven't decided whether to pursue a remedy or not. Separate cabins won't work for us because we have our two young children sailing with us. I'm not sure what I'd ask for if I did pursue it.

I do wish one of the corner suite guests would post some photos...

  4. I think every single cabin has by now been displayed with pictures and videos except for xx002 and xx003! Why? What’s wrong with them?

(We have 13002 for Feb 10)

I'm in 13002 in June. I really just want to confirm that it's true 1 bedroom. Don't really care about much else.

  5. I am planning on a Divina cruise and sailaway is 7pm.

We live in NYC and most likely will fly to Miami a few days in advance.

However, to look at all the options....maybe we can fly in that day.

    What time does check-in end?

Fly in the night before, enjoy an evening and morning in Miami.

  6. Although the 10001 is one bed/bath is it in 2 rooms ? looking at the Sofa and the bed they are both by sliding doors.

10001 is one of the center suites up front, with 1 bed and 1 bath as you noted. Both the bedroom and the living room have sliding doors, per the cabin diagram.

My question is whether the door between the rooms is an actual door that can be closed or just an opening.

  7. There were numerous variations of several stateroom classes when we booked in 2015. MSC has said that some of the online images were not correct. They kept pushing back the release dates of some of the staterooms ... one year ... six months ... 3-4 months ... 1 month. Those moving targets have all come and gone.

Their reluctance to share details of some of the stateroom categories is odd.

  8. If someone has the chance to see the stateroom in advance, at least they knew what they are getting. However, it is truly unfortunate for those who booked based upon it being represented as a suite. :loudcry:

The SJ3 whirlpool suites have had the cabin layout on the MSC website for a long time now. So far as I can tell the only real question marks now are the 1 bed 1 bath SE3 Grand suites.
