  1. Just wanted to say you are not crazy for doing this. We have cruised with all our kids, starting from when the youngest was 8 months old on a Transatlantic. We've since done Caribbean, Panama Canal, Alaska, and Baltics - all with at least one baby/toddler and at most three. Hardest one was definitely Alaska on Celebrity as they had absolutely nothing for those under three. Still, even that was a great week! No it will not be as relaxing as it would without children, but it's still fantastic plus someone else has to cook and clean. Saying everyone will be miserable is just plain wrong (not to say there won'tbe difficult moments but you get those at home with kids too). Pep talk concluded, you have a great holiday! We had actually booked this one for late October with our 4 kids aged from one to ten, but then changed to ncl breakaway out of NYC instead.
  2. Thanks for this information, my biggest fear is to be stuck on a ship with four young children for almost two weeks and nowhere for them to play between meals, especially since I know princess doesn't really have much for children except the youth center. I don't even need it to be staffed (since us parents can stay with them in the youth center), hopefully they would agree to open it for play as they did for you.
  3. Yes exactly. We actually prefer this as we would not like to leave our baby in a nursery but rather come with him to the kids club.
  4. Sorry, I was unclear. I did not mean always open, but rather operating at all throughout the cruise. We wouldn't want our kids in the club all day anyway.
  5. Both cruises were in 2019, on Getaway in Europe and Joy in US/Panama Canal. You may be right, but we did ask the staff to be sure and were welcome with our baby in swim diapers. Or did we perhaps just ask on Getaway and assumed it was the same on Joy a couple of months later? Can't remember for sure, perhaps I just assumed it was the same as on Getaway and DCL (haven't been on RCI) but good to know that may not be the case.
  6. Just to add that we have been on NCL getaway and NCL Joy, both have splash parks for kids with swim diapers. So they do exist.
  7. We are planning to go on regal princess for a Mediterranean cruise in October. We don't expect there to be a lot of kids in that sailing but we have several including a baby! I have heard good things about the kids club on-board Princess but my question is if they are always available even if there are not many kids on the actual sailing?
