I haven’t. It just doesn’t make sense because the people I’m calling won’t be using those apps. I was really just trying to find out how well Verizon Cruise Pass works as far as cell service.

I’ve never been able to call with the ships WiFi.

I’m not too concerned about the data part, I really just need to be able to make a couple calls and then text. So this is helpful, thank you!

Hello everyone! My cruise is coming up this Saturday, can’t wait! Has anyone used the Verizon cruise pass where you pay $30/day for cell service? I know how and what the service includes from what it says on their website but I’m curious to know if anyone has used it and if it works well at sea? I don’t want to pay for it and it not work well.

Where do you find the fountain sodas on Mardi Gras?

This is great to know! We will be in the Mardi Gras April 20 and the chocolate melting cake is my favorite dessert but I’m disappointed it’s not in any of the other restaurants. I’ll definitely be going to have one at the MDR after any specialty dining!

Why not just use the OBC towards cheers? You can use your onboard credit before you get on the ship.

I’m on the Mardi Gras the week before you April 20. The excursions for all our ports are all showing when I login. I also searched the Mardi Gras in April and the April 6 is showing availability for booking.

I’ve even had a bartender let someone in our group order for himself, me and my mom at the same time without me and my mom being with him. It probably really just depends on the bartender but I’ve never ran into issues with this.

My husband does this for me all the time on every cruise and never had an issue.

We haven’t been asked when we want our cabin cleaned but the first day we always tell the steward we want it done in the evenings. We like to sleep in on vacation so we always just tell them we want evenings. It’s never been an issue.

I’ll expand on this and say that we did send out actual save the dates. But only to those we knew were going or to those that said they were interested. We invited 40 people and 35 came. We were surprised so many came so you just ever know until you ask.

I got married on a cruise in April of this year. We gave our guests 7 months notice. We did ask our parents and siblings first about the date since we wanted to be sure they could make it. After we made sure our families could come we booked and then invited friends to come. We had 35 people go.

I love using the spa so I would take the upgrade for that price. I don’t get seasick though so I can’t say much on how you’d feel up there if you do.

Just paid for our cruise with gift cards and it was much more than $300.
