Last night I was checking to see if it had updated and it did! I was able to check in!!!!

I keep checking and so far nada...

That is not your staggered check in time. You will find it under manage my cruise:

From the top menu, select manage my booking. Then select edit online check in:

Then select My check in time setup embarkation time:

Then you will be given the drop down menu of choices. Select one and click continue.

That would be the boarding time frame, but you should be on board before then.

 

Of course, who knows exactly how they're pulling this off. When you pick a check-in time, it will be far more specific than "1-3".

I just checked my boarding pass and it says Embarkation 1-3. That is what it has said every time that I' have checked. Might this change or is this my staggered check in time?

I'm on Sunshine Oct 1 out of NYC. Where do I look for this info on my booking?

So last night I was on CCL website and did a mock booking for this Fascination cruise for next year and the price is right...I did a 24 hour hold:D...BUT I still have to discuss with DH....:eek:

On our last visit we took a taxi on our own to Chankanaab National Beach. We paid for day passes and brought our own snorkel gear with us. There were waiters were on the beach serving us drinks and food. It was fabulous!

We are crusing to Bermuda on Sunshine out of NYC on Oct 1! We are counting down the days (31) hehe! It's our second time on Sunshine, first time going to Bermuda and our first time sailing out of NYC! Also the first time we are sailing from a port that is close to home. It's about a 2 hour drive for us!

I was just on the Legend on 8/9 with Jaime Dee as cruise director, and we had Zumba twice on the ship led by her.

 

I don't know that this is a cruise line wide thing, or just a her thing, but it was quite fun, and I was glad to be able to get some Zumba in while cruising!

I love Jaime Dee! How fun that she lead Zumba on your cruise!!

Insurance 100%! But I Agree that this policy encourages those without insurance to lie.

My sister had a few Carnival cruises under her belt when she convinced our family to go with hers. We had never cruised before, therefore have nothing to compare it to! Although I have looked at other lines I can't see paying the higher the price difference when we have had great experiences on Carnival. We are about a month away from our fourth Carnival cruise!

Fire has to be one of my biggest fears about cruising. Sounds like everyone is ok though. I can't find any news articles about this when I google. Last time we sailed Sunshine our balcony neighbors were smoking. We reported it but it continued throughout our cruise. It is so dangerous and people don't think of that!

On a past cruise I discussed 2 different options with the tire cruise booth. My sister called and found the prices online to be much less! I was shocked.

Good for you! I called CCL today to check on Balcony prices for our upcoming 10/1 cruise and the price difference was almost the same amount that we spent on the cruise! Hoping that we get an upgrade call/email like we got in the past!
