Hi,

I'll be in port on Oasis of the seas and traveling with someone who can't walk long distances. I know there are wheelchair pushers who bring you to the security checkpoint but not beyond it. Does anyone know if they offer any assistance through the shopping area to the taxi line? Even if it's just a shop that has one and I can tip them.

Correct me if I'm  wrong, but i think the 2 bedroom grand suites on 12 have the jacuzzi on the balcony too. 

For the rooms that offer wifi included do you get one device per person in the room? So 5 people would have 5 devices? Thank you!

Does anyone know if there are locals on the pier offering to push people in wheelchairs down the pier towards the shopping area? We sail royal and I remember from our last visit its a long walk for the mobility challenged. Thank you for any info! 

Hello all, does anyone know the email to the suite concierge on Independence? I wanted to try and get a certain cabana on barefoot and figured an email request couldn't hurt. Thanks!

Are the drinks available during the suite happy hour the same liqours provided for the diamond drinks? Wasn't sure if it was full bar or only the diamond selection. Thank you.

Hi, don't want to hijack your thread but had a slightly related question. I too am crusing with "mobility challenged" elderly parents and was hoping to get the B2 cabana. How far away are the bathrooms and buffet from that cabana? Thank you. 

Has anyone gotten a cheaper price booking a speciality restaurant on board vs the cruise planner? I have a vague recolection of being offered 15% off when looking at a menu by the door but not certain. 

I've seen flyers from miami based ships that offer the luggage valet up to Ft. Lauderdale and was hoping they do it in reverse as well. Does anyone know for sure if I can use the luggage valet from port everglades down to miami airport? I'll  be on the Independence. Thanks in advance. 

My mom is in the same boat. You can get a wheelchair to take her from where you get off the boat to where you pick up the trams. I get us a beach bungalow on columbus cove that is a covered cabana like structure with a nice couch. There are paved pathways for the majority of the distance from the tram to the bungalows, the only sand really is walking into the area and to your bungalow. Might be possible to get the first one so she doesnt have to walk as far. It is also by bathrooms and the food.

At the end of June I begin my Alaskan adventure with my family and had a question about getting a taxi to the airport at the end of the cruise. My family does not understand the meaning of "traveling light" and we will be gone for two weeks, so needless to say there will be much luggage plus a folded transport chair. I understand a lot of the cabs are prius models and they are not known for their storage capacities.

Do they offer larger type van cabs or even a shuttle size cab? Has anyone used a car service to pick them up from the pier and taken them to the airport, know a good one? I know there is a train option but with my mother, might not be the best one.

Also, does RCL offer an airport transfer option? I didn't see one but thought never hurts to ask. Flight is early afternoon so unable to do the excursion option with the transport.

Hello all.

I was wondering if anyone has used a wheelchair during the land portion of a cruise tour? My mother has long distance mobility issues and I was going to bring a light weight wheelchair for her to use. Are they able to stow them on the bus and bring it to your room like luggage? I know in some of the lodges you are in out buildings and she wouldn't be able to walk far to get to the main lodge for meals. Any information or tips you have is much appreciated.

Thank you for the customs and airport info. I fly out on a Friday so heres hoping the lines won't be too bad. I normally do late afternoon flights home so this cruise will be new exeperiences all around.

We fly home on a Friday. I keep hearing that Vancouver is a beautiful city to explore but we are doing a land tour as well and I can't take more than 2 weeks off. But i hope to do the cruise part again and take advantage then.

When i saw there was an option for a direct flight home i jumped on it. Some of the layovers were 3 hours which makes for a super long day.

Do you go through customs on the ship terminal and in the airport? We normally stick to Miami so this is new. Flight time is 2 o'clock out of Vancouver direct.

I was shocked at how many seats are already gone with it still being 7 mo out.

Our flight would be direct to Wisconsin at 2pm looking. I was checking prices for the heck of it and was shocked flying home that economy was practically gone. So did a quick info gathering session with you great CC people. Thanks again for tge help.

I always ask everybody this question that just got off this class of ship, what was your cabin and did you find your cabin to be on the warm side at night?

Chiming in super quick as this was a big concern of mine. My party had two ocean view balcony cabins, deck 7 mid ship and they got cold. I loved it, but my mom when in my room had on a blanket and a sweatshirt. Was very relieved not to sweat to death at night.

I always get the royal replenishment package so i get free virgin frozen drinks. Would it be possible to get a virgin pina colada then have my diamond drink be a shot of rum? From a bar that can make the frozen drinks, not the lounge itself. Not a big drinker but love my frozen items so thought this would be a good idea if possible.

Quick question if the beach bungalows at columbus cove survived the storms? I saw some of the OTW cabanas didn't make it and got curious. Thanks!:D
