  1. Quick question about if there are coffee offerings there. I know since there is a Starbucks on board the cafe promenade doesn't have a Frappuccino. I am remembering a review i read where i think she got a Frappuccino at the park cafe using the royal replenishment package. Anyone know if you can get one there?

    Thanks!

  2. Hi everyone, I booked the 7B grand mountain marvels tour for next summer and I am looking for anyone who has done this tour or is going to do it this year. I am interested in the information you get from the tour guides at the beginning of the land portion, such as the excursion list and the itinerary schedule that you get about tour and also maybe things not to be missed. I am a major planner and the not being able to know things before hand will slowly drive me mad so any and all information you can provide will be great appreciated.

    Thank you!!

  3. Does any one know which pier RCI uses when they go to Cozumel? I've seen that NCL will tender at times. Is that also a possible option? There 5 other ships in port that day, one other RCI. Thanks for the help.

  4. Hello all, I'll be crusing on Oasis for the first time in few months and had a few questions.

Does the coffee you get free in the royal replenishment package include the Starbucks?

What are the bed placements in rooms 7602 and 7604? I found the explanation in an old post but can't seem to figure it out.

When do the shows normally open up to do reservations?

I think that is it for now. Thank you all in advance for your help.

  5. Thank you all for the info. I heard about the aggressive market area as well, and wanted to avoid that. I was just worried she might have to walk through that to get the Columbus Cove. I'm pretty protective of my mama bird right now and don't want her to have to deal with that or me telling them to back off.

I didn't know there was a boat that would take us over to start with. Thanks for the link. Looks like she will get the relaxing day I had hoped for her.

  6. Hi, quick question about the tram services that go to Columbus Cove. I read somewhere that a passenger was on the tram going to Columbus Cove and the drive stopped at the market and made them walk the rest of the way. I think it was something about not enough room to turn it around. My mom is coming off serious health issues for this cruise and won't have the stamina to walk from the market area to the cove. Has anyone who has been there recently know if the tram does go all the way to the cove or just stops where the drives wants to?

    Thanks.

  7. Hi, just wanted to let you know that the price as of March this year is still $50. We booked them on board after finding out the cabanas were sold out and liked these better. The attendent we had, forget her name, was very sweet and made sure my mom always had ice for her water. It's very quiet there and less rocky than the public areas but there is seaweed you have to get through which had the lovely slime texture. As the other poster said you should be ok for shade and they can be flipped forward as needed.

They are a hike away so i would for sure take the tram. The gentlemen who drives it waits behind the shore excursion building that is to your right after the enterance. There is nothing telling you what the tram is for and the driver just sits there waiting so we missed it as we thought he was picking up all the people waiting there for an excursion. Our fault for not going up to him to ask. Just wanted to give you a heads up as we had to wait a while, even after asking for him to be radioed to return, and ended up just walking which was too much for my mother.

Also, they will drive you to the buffet at two different times so you can pick which time you like better. The last tram leaves i think 45 minutes before the all aboard time. Have a great time!! :D

  8. Hi, I will be heading out to sandcastle next spring and had a question about the drop off. I've read from other posters about it and was wondering if it is difficult to navigate. How far out from the beach is the drop off? I'm crusing with my older parents, one with slight mobility issues and wanted to make sure it wouldn't cause a problem. Also, if anyone was there recently, is the beach erosion bad to the point that we should pick some place else? Just looking for a nice day on a beach with food near by. Thanks in advance for the help.

  9. Hi, I'm going to be booking a cruise soon on this ship and had a few questions.

Do they have the freestyle machines to be used for the soda packages or just bar service?

Is a cabin in the forward by the stairs noisy and more movement? Around like 7238? I have only been in midship cabins and heard the closer towards the forward you go the more motion.

I saw somewhere that there is a park cafe option now for the complimentary dining, is that accurate? Aside from the cafe promenade. Also is there a starbucks option now?

I know the ship is older and decor a bit dated but all I care about is clean.

Thanks for all the answers and sorry for all the questions but you get the best info here!!
