Currently on the journey. Embarkation was a breeze. No lines.. just walked right on. However we came early. At 1:45. Even though our boarding cards said 3:00 lol! But we had a suite so that might have helped. We were in our room by 2:15.
we did the video monitored abbots labs emed test btw. No issues with that. All they cared about was the date of the test. We printed out the results.
Very few( but us) wearing masks. Very naive for this minute imho. I’ve had Covid recently but my husband didn’t get it from me. And we don’t want to spend time in quarantine! According to our friend with Covid that is traveling on the ship back to back she has to stay in the cabin for at least 6 days and maybe till she tests negative??? ( took me 14 days. And I had a mild case!)

our suite 6003 is lovely. Nice steward and butler. They helped us sort out a few room issues. Like no drawer in the desk for makeup etc. they brought two extra side tables which helps a lot.
Had room service dinner and breakfast. Lunch at the patio which is only open for lunch.
will have dinner at windows tonight.. taste of China. food is good.
we had a very nice cruise critic meeting yesterday with 12 attendees. Drinks and canapés were served and the assistant cruise director came to welcome us. Very nice group of people.
the destination celebration is tonight. A Slovenian band in the cabaret lounge. We have decided not to go. Nor to the captains welcome party tomorrow, too many people without masks in a closed environment.
Gorgeous day in Koper, Slovenia. Warm but not too bad. Charming little seaside town.
let me know if you have questions!

    Hello harrodsfan

Could you tell me which officers are on board the Journey right now?  Hotel director, Cruise Director etc.. Thank you very much.

Since you are one of the few sailings that has actually received FCC, would you be so kind as to answer a few questions please-

    1. Did the email come directly from Azamara or did it come via travel agent?

    2. Did it come with directions on how it can be used- new bookings only? Sail by date?

    3. Is there a certifiCate number and expiration date for usage?

I agree that this all is mystifying. We were on Quest Feb 20 sailing that did not go according to plan. Captain sent letters on Mar 8 detailing FCC and Azamara notified our travel agent on Mar 9 that FCC would be forthcoming. To date, we have heard nothing from Azamara regarding FCC. We all are just waiting patiently- The FCC is currently worthless to us as long as they have the over 70 permission slip requirement. I would like to know the expiration date for FCC in hopes the over 70 restriction will be lifted before the FCC expires.

Also we were told in the letters that flight change fees and visa fees could be submitted to AzamaraCustomerService@azamara.com. We have heard nothing back from that either. It would be nice if we even got an automated response acknowledging they received the request and are working on it.

We did get our port fees credited to our onboard account before disembarking, otherwise we would be waiting on those too.

We also received our FCC for our March 28th cruise :

Here are the answers to your questions:

    1. Did the email come directly from Azamara or did it come via travel agent? I received it directly and my TA also received it.

    2. Did it come with directions on how it can be used- new bookings only? Sail by date? Valid on bookings created on or after March 6, 2020 and existing bookings not yet paid to full.

    3. Is there a certifiCate number and expiration date for usage? Yes there's a Certificate number and If the FCC is not redeemed and sailed on or before December 31, 2021, the certificate will automatically expire and have no value.

  3. Hi,

We are looking to book a Royal Suite on the Millennium for 2021. When I go to the Royal Suite description on the Celebrity site they don't mention that there's a hot tub on the veranda.  Does anyone know if the hot tubs will remain?

    Thank you

  4. Good day,

Just to let you know that some itineraries are not showing on the website. I just book Reflection on March 23 2020 doing the Western Caribbean (Cartagena, Colon, Puerto Limon etc..) My Travel Agent called them and they told her that there'is a glitch in their system preventing from showing some itineraries.

  5. Thanks Nordski,

We are going with our Aeroplan points from Air Canada fidelity plan. My first planning was to leave the day after disembarkation. But I saw this morning that Aeroplan released flights for the day of disembarkation. But yes for me too it looks too tight. I will stick with my first plan and I will book tomorrow for the day after :-)

Thank you and have a great day
