Great photo of a "Golden Age" of travel.  I have been fortunate enough to have been onboard three of them.  Queen Mary is without a doubt my fave but SS United States was a sight to see at speed in the Atlantic.  Not progress Imho, to plod across the Atlantic today at 15 knots for 7 days.  Fun at 30+ and 4.5 days.🍸
