  1. It's not a Carnival policy, it's a Turks and Caicos government policy. You are required to have a government permit to export conch shells and most other types of shells. All of that is clearly spelled out on the Turks and Caicos government visitor site.

  2. I was on the Sunshine out of PC Mar 4-12 to Aruba. We had the rooms directly above the bridge on deck 9. The first 3 nights the wind was 50-60 kts and waves got up to 17-20' one night. I made for 3 sleepless nights. Wind did not die down until we were on the way back north to Grand Turk. Sea spray was on our windows 9 decks up.

     

    I was on that same cruise just below you on Deck 8 next to the hatch to the bridge passageway. It was definitely a fun ride those first 3 nights. Luckily I spent a few years "haze grey and underway" on frigates and destroyers, so I have built up a tolerance. :D
