  1. Has anyone noticed if the shuttle is handicapped accessible? Maybe has a lift? My husband uses a 3 wheeled scooter. Thanks
  2. Thank you everyone for your responses. Unfortunately Princess is not offering an accessible excursion at this port. I will contact the accessibility office to see if the shuttle bus is accessible. Will continue to look for options.
  3. We will be in Quebec City in late Sept. My husband is disabled and uses a scooter for mobility I was wondering if he will be able to access the HoHo bus at or near the cruise port and whether the funicular is within a reasonable walking distance of the port. We realize there will be cobblestones everywhere and accessibility may be limited in many areas.
  4. Will be traveling to Quebec City for a Princess Cruise in September. Does anyone know if the shuttle to old town is handicapped accessible? If not, is it walkable? My husband uses a GoGo scooter. Thanks for any info you can give us.
  5. We will be in Hamburg next month. Does anyone know if there is a free or pay shuttle into the city center from the cruise terminal ?
  6. My mistake. The shoes are touch ups. I love them. https://www.amazon.com/Touch-Ups-Womens-Melanie-Sandal/dp/B0015ZVSDM/ref=asc_df_B0015ZVSDM/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=242022553
  7. I have 2 pairs of the Go Walks with the kitten heels, in silver and black. I believe they are the Melanie type? They are very comfortable, Have worn them for each of my sons' weddings with no problem, and are easy to dance in. One pair always goes with me on a cruise to be worn on formal night. I may actually buy a new silver pair as they are 11 years old and are a bit worn ! I hope you find them as comfortable as I do!
  8. Thank you for the review. My husband and I and 4 friends will be on the same cruise next week and we are anxious for any and all information and recommendations you can give us. So sorry you missed your excursions. Enjoy the rest of your cruise.
  9. Princess will provide accessible transportation from London to Southampton and back! My husband uses a GoGo scooter and we were very happy with the accessible van and the driver. On the way back to London we asked the Accessibility Dept if we could stop at Stonehenge and they allowed it! We were thrilled as our friends were on the Princess bus transport stopping at Stonehenge and we were able to join them.
  10. My husband utilizes a scooter and cannot walk. He always remains in his scooter. We usually book an accessible room at Embassy Suites when flying in the day before our cruise. There has always been an accessible van/cab available in the cab line at the airport to take us to the hotel. The concierge at the hotel is aware of what cab companies have an accessible van and will call for us the next day when we are ready to go to the ship. We do allow plenty of time as we have had to wait for the van to come. After the cruise again there has always been an accessible van in the cab line to take us back to the airport. Hope this info helps.
