We will be taking a taxi to Orient Beach for the morning, our ship arrives at 8:00 and then taking a taxi over to Maho for lunch and watch the planes. Approximately how long does it take to go from Orient Beach to Maho Beach and what time would you leave by to get to Maho in time to see the big planes. Appreciate any feedback!

Thanks for the response. Was just concerned that Taxi's don't call it a day at 4:00 or so. Haven't been to Sapphire before and have our hearts set on going this time. When you say crowded, will it be uncomfortably crowded?

We have used Bernard's in the past but looking to spend as much time at both beaches as possible. We (Oasis) are the only ship in port in a couple of weeks. We plan on getting a taxi from the port to Orient which I'm sure is easy enough but need to know that getting a taxi from Orient to Maho will be no problem. I've seen a post that said the taxi's prefer to go back to the port from Orient, so just need some reassurance that getting a taxi to Maho should not be a difficult task. Thanks for the help!

Have searched for awhile but looking for the communities opinion. We have cruised a few times but have almost always used ships excursions. We have ventured out a couple of times on non ship excursions but looking to just use a taxi this time. We will be on Oasis in a couple of weeks and docked at Crown Bay. We arrive at 10:00 AM and depart at 7:00. We're looking to taxi to Sapphire Beach so figuring to arrive there around 11:30 or so. What would be the latest time we could comfortably stay and not have a problem getting a taxi back and do the taxi's go back to Crown Bay? Thanks for any and all help!
