Can you tell me more about your driving experience? We are debating renting a car on our own versus the scenic railroad. I’m not sure I want to sit on a train for three hours and would prefer the flexibility of a car. I’m assuming the scenery is just as amazing? And enough places to eat that I won’t feel like I have to stop along a river and catch salmon for lunch. We are in Port for about 9 hours

My husband and I just booked this cruise. I didn’t really have a plan in mind to do so, but the price was ridiculously low. This will be our first time in Alaska, and we will be back in the future, and we'll spend much more time at that time. For now, flying in to Anchorage a couple of days before, taking the train down to Seward, and then four days in Vancouver after the cruise. We are from Ann Arbor Michigan. So looking forward to this now
