can anyone who has been on oasis recently tell me if the drink cards were offered and on what day?

has anybody done this tour? it includes mountain top, magens bay for 2 hours then 2 hours of shopping. i was wondering if it was worth it. and also if we didn't want to do the 2 hrs of shopping will they bring us back to the ship?

would you say getting to the port at 10:30 is a good time? we have to park our car at park & go so i want to make sure we get there at a good time.

was the terminal crowded when you got there? we usually cruise royal caribbean and we get to the terminal at 10 & they start boarding who ever is checked in around 10:45-11:00.

i am new to this check in time stuff and i guess i dont have to worry about it since i have fttf.

what time did they actually start the boarding process? i know it depends on when the ship get's cleared.

i was on youtube and another couple showed a video on boarding the conquest saying they had to wait a long time. they got there at 10. said their room wasn't ready. and they didn't recommend getting it. though they didn't show going to their room, the seemed to just go to the lido deck.

I am red and will reach 25 points the first night of our conquest cruise in October. I already printed my luggage tags and if I pull up my vifp info it still shows red!

does anybody know when they will release the rest of 2020? I am interested in Hawaii for may 2020 I see they only have up to April.

I was just on freedom in April. Before my cruise I read every review & post about how bad freedom was. That there was garbage laying around and nobody was picking it up. The food was terrible. The entertainment was bad. You name it people complained about it. I was so upset. Thought about changing ships.

Called royal and asked them if they had people reading these boards, because the reviews were so bad. They told me they do. And that I was very concerned. Someone called me back and we spoke about all the things I have been reading. They gave me there extension Incase I had a problem on the ship. Told me they didn’t understand where these reviews were coming from. They do the guest surveys and they didnt know why there were so many complaints. They had received excellent reviews through the survey.

When we boarded freedom it was in great condition. People working all over the ship. The food was excellent. Ate in the dining room every night. I didn’t see anything like people were describing. I had been on the freedom 3 years before and loved it. It didn’t disappoint.

I have learned my lesson and just go with an open mind. I don’t read the reviews anymore.

my last cruise on carnival was 7 years ago and I was on the miracle twice & legend. Does the pool area have tables & chairs near the windows? Thanks!

i just did my online check in for for the conquest October 21st. The first available time was 11:30-12:30. I purchased faster to the fun. So I was kind of surprised at the time. I called carnival and they told me this was the first available.

When I cruise royal Caribbean we are at the port at 10am through security and onboard by 10:45.

Can anybody who has used this in port everglades tell me if this is the earliest time, what time they let you in the terminal?

I want to make sure that I am getting what I paid for.

I’m not sure why we were able to communicate. But we all did have the Royal iq app. That’s why is was wondering. So I can just text them without using fb messenger and not be charged?

The 2 other couples we traveled with on harmony both had Voom and we were able to communicate to fb messenger. Both of my kids for this cruise have purchased the Voom. As well as myself. They are both in there 20’s.

last year on harmony I got the internet package and was able to communicate through Facebook messenger. How does it work on oasis? If I want to communicate with my kids on the ship will I have to text them and pay whatever charge there is from Verizon?

We will be cruising to Aruba in April 2019. Will be my first time. Any suggestions for a newbie? We will be there from 9-8pm. Are there any all inclusive? We like to snorkel. But would like to see some of the island also.

Thank you! It’s is so different from mine. Mine is very clear. So when she got it we were worried that you couldn’t see her face clearly that they would give her a hard time. But like you said, they sent it to her so it must be ok.

we are going on the oasis in September. My daughter just received her passport. Her picture is very light. Can’t see the color of her hair or her eye color. Will she heave a hard time using it? I tried to google. And all I can find is people who said there photos are very dark. Don’t want her to not be able to board. Has anyone come across this? She does have her birth certificate. And license. I’m hoping her birth certificate is the right one since the government took it as proof of identity. My husband says she will be ok since they did issue a passport. But don’t want her to be denied boarding.

saw a great deal on an interior for October. Already have a cruise booked for September. And just did a cruise in April. I always book balcony’s. Showed my husband and he said we’ll go if we do the interior. No problem. Booked it. I would do the interior with extra days. The 5 day goes so quick.

Since I have FTTF leaving from ft lauderdale, do I still have to pick an arrival time? Or can I go whenever? And has anybody recently left from port everglades who has used it tell me What time u went to the port, what time u got to start boarding, what was your experience like. And also what terminal conquest leaves from?

Just booked my cruise for September on conquest from ft lauderdale 3 weeks ago. Haven’t been on carnival in a couple of years. I saw a lot of people on the boards talking about FTTF. I looked under excursions said it was sold out. Had to call carnival last week about something. So I said to the lady I know FTTF is sold out, can you tell me exactly what it is. And she said I have 2 left. So I was able to get one. My suggestion would be to call also. You never know.

When I turned platinum they were in my stateroom when we first got on the ship. That was last September.

Will be doing conquest 6 day in October. It’s been a while since i’ve Been on carnival. Do they have lobster on any of the formal nights?

On freedom now. Today I went up to the pool at 8am. It is a sea day. All the chairs had towels on them. Me my husband and another couple had 4 chairs. There was another 2 chairs next to us with towels on them. Didn't see anybody. The 4 in our party went to the hot tub. Came back, there were 2 people in the 2 chairs.

About 15 minutes later 2 girls come over and start shouting at the girls in the chairs. From what I heard, the 2 girls that were occupying the chairs were sitting on the side by the tables waiting for loungers. Saw the towels on the 2 chairs were there and no people for about 40 minutes. I guess they said something to the pool guy. He didn't do anything so the girls took the towels off.

So the two girls come screaming at them. Say they were up at 6:30 am to put the towels there. And there bag was there. And that they were there but went up to change. (They weren't there. And neither was their bag). So they scream at the girl. Call her the "c" word. Among other things. Then proceed to threaten her in front of the pool guy. I mean really in her face. Thought she was going to hit her. The pool guy calls security. While waiting for them. She threatens the girl for a second time. So the girl being threatened again asks the pool guy to get security. She is scared. The other girl is screaming. Security comes up. The crazy girl is still going on. And her friend too. The security guy doesn't do anything except pull 2 loungers over for the crazy girls. But they weren't moving. So the girls got up and left. The other 2 plopped in the chairs laughing and going on & on about how security didn't do anything about them.

They need to really do something about this. It could've gotten really out of hand.
