  2. Hey bea I’m going to have to change my dates on my upcoming cruises to mid August. So before i ring and change i was looking at different room categories [emoji85] and came across an angled corner balcony suite at the front of bellissima with aurea package and on seaview the front corner grand suites with aurea package and was wondering if you, dave or anyone has any knowledge of these rooms. Any info appreciated and the reason i started with you bea is because the sail date for seaview would be the 31st august [emoji4]

  3. On my recent seaview cruise the buffet on deck 16 had a theme night every night eg Mediterranean, german, mexican, Brazilian and it just rotated everynight. The main buffet was half closed on a night and not much selection but i loved their pizza and burgers anyway so it was ok. Regarding drinks, juices available at breakfast only which i thought a bit strange but my drinks package made up for it [emoji23]

  5. Take the hop on hop off red route you can do it through msc or for a bit more fun take the horse and cart to the top of the hill and jump on it at the monument. It was €20 and the red route is 3 hours in total so we stayed on until we got to the blue lagoon there’s a bus every 30mins we stayed at blue lagoon about an hour and jumped back on then we got off in sliema for some drinks and some retail therapy[emoji23] really nice place aswell and then took bus back to Valletta got the little one a mc Donalds and got back on ship. Probably best day in port [emoji1303]

  6. Dave i never and feel like i should have , mentioned it twice to my room steward and the second time i showed him the ashtray they had on the balcony was also going to go to reception but they are the only thing on the ship i would have changed ( load music or long lines ) [emoji31]. I really don’t think they were bothered about smoking. I actually watched the pool bar service serve someone on the sun loungers near the big screen tv whilst all 4 were smoking. My dads a smoker and he even said they were taking the ****.

  7. During our recent seaview cruise whilst docked in genoa the captain made what i thought was a strange announcement and asked if people would kindly refrain from smoking on balconies whilst the ship is being refuelled [emoji848] also there was a couple who had one of the extended balconies below us but a few along had brought her own ashtray and was freely smoking foe a week, even when there were crew washing the decks and i mean standing leaning on the railing smoking also there were numerous occasions when people were smoking by the pools. Seems to me that msc were not bothered in the slightest [emoji848][emoji20]

  8. I was told by the rep i had the 30% discount on about the 5th night but didn’t receive it in writing until the morning of disembarkation of the first week but was staying onboard for 2 weeks so after a bit of haggling and talking to the casino manager they allowed us to book during the 2nd week. Hope this helps [emoji1303]

  9. Hi kaz. Im not the type to do excursions so i only get off ship when close to town, love a wander. Some of our group did do pompei, although i did think they were very reasonably priced. Done the hop on hop off in malta €20 and stopped at the blue lagoon for a hour or so it was beautiful. Also done the hop on hop off in Barcelona but just took in the sights. Aquarium in genoa is right beside where the ship docks and was good.
