  1. Like others we could not get tix for the guided tour, but regular admission tix were pretty available on that first Tuesday for the month. I would get the audio guide, it was very good. The walk to the Museum is very doable from the port and it is an enjoyable walk.
  2. Port or starboard really does not matter in terms of sightseeing. It may matter in terms of if you want to face land while docked, but that is a bit of a guess anyway as to how the ship will dock. One slight consideration if you are taking a one way cruise, is if you want the sun shining in your cabin in the morning or evening. Likely I would choose sun in the morning (starboard side for traveling North) , so that the sun is at your back for evening views from your balcony.
  3. Yes, we booked train and bikes on our own. Bikes through Cafe Rallarens as UofMcruiser states. This day was a really beautiful ride down the mountain. We also had exceptionally good weather, however. Note that the first portion of the biking is somewhat difficult I found even for experienced bikers. Large rock gravel, etc. Most people walked their bikes initially, however, that was only for 30 min or so, then it gets smoother and smoother as you go (packed gravel or ashphalt path). And of course it is almost all downhill, so it is not strenuous.
