That stinks. I have been pondering purchasing the 3 meals at the speciality restaurants for $81/per but wondered what that would get us. Sorry that experience was crappy. Happy Birthday to Ro!

We loved the Schooner Bar as it was the closest to our Stateroom. [emoji41][emoji41] Can't believe I did not do the Rising Tide Bar because I can guarantee you I did pretty much everything else on that ship. Have a blast.

We did Oasis in Aug & loved it. I would get up early (5amish) and prowl the ship. It was so crazy peaceful and beautiful especially the aft observation deck as we came into a port. I wrote a review entitled "I'll Sleep When I'm Dead" if you want a full rundown. Have an awesome time.

I will be a new RC passenger on Oasis in 3mos. I am very disappointed to read OP's experience, and even more so to see responses that all of it is not only true but also old news. Now I'm really bummed.
We had the time of our life on Oasis in Aug. Enjoyed great service and food in the MDR (never upgraded any menu items). Ya gotta just zig a little and zag some. We didn't do any speciality restaurants and were completely satisfied with the food.

We did Oasis in August & I was absolutely flabbergasted by the pool deck. We were previous Disney cruisers with only 2 pools. The pools on Oasis just keep going & going. We always went early so never had a problem getting a spot. The smoking area is on the pool deck but you don't have to be anywhere near it. I really loved the Oasis. We loved the shows. Our dining room experience was top notch (13 people). Have fun either way!

We always bring jeans/pants & a light sweater bc the AC is usually on overdrive. Most people wear shorts & t-shirts during the day. Just wear what is most comfortable for you and have a blast.

Ohh I didn't know the Sky would be refurbished in Jan. We sail Feb so now I am super excited. A quick google search says "extensive updates to public areas and staterooms"

Looking at ncl.com, looks like it goes out of service Jan 22 to Feb 2nd. Not an experienced cruiser but that doesn't sound like a long time. But I guess they work like heck on the ship for two weeks.
