I am so glad we are not fussy about food and find with the variety Celebrity offer, there’s always something for us. So many other aspects to a cruise that are far more important.

You are the kind of customer Celebrity now prizes. OK with about anything served to you.  Unfortunately for the price, I do not feel that way.

But something that we don't know is whether the morgue was out of service at the time of death, or if it broke down later, and the body had to be transferred to the cooler. And was the widow actually "dissuaded" from the PR option by the X staff, or was she simply provided with 2 options and chose the other one?

Another thing of note is the woman said they were upset because they couldn't have an open casket due to the decomposition. Yet (according to Wiki) after a week a body is too far gone, even under ideal morgue conditions, for an open casket.

I really don't care for the "reporting" style in this article. Very colorful and designed to skew in a particular direction. Or written by counsel for the plaintiff.

It was written by a reporter for the New York Times, based on the lawsuit that was filed.

This dinner is limited to eight guests, but our sommelier told us that so many people were interested this cruise, that they opened up another night. If you miss out during first sign-up, ask to be put on a waiting list. If they have enough people interested, they will extend the dinner to a second night.

Can you share the amount of the uncharge? And can you use the classic beverage card there?

How long are you in port?  Tulum is at least an 8 hour excursion so if your port day isn't long enough, they probably won't be able to offer it.

I do also agree that it is still early and more will get added as you get closer to your sail date.

Just a warning:  I saw a story today about four bodies being found on the sand in front of a beach resort in Cancun.  The story also said: The U.S. State Department issued a travel alert last month warning travelers to "exercise increased caution," especially after dark, at Mexico's Caribbean beach resorts like Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Tulum, which have been plagued by drug gang violence in the past.

  5. In 2018, we were on the Reflection.  Some "deal" was offered when I booked that included a concierge room.  After eating at Murano early in the cruise, we wanted to book a second night there but were told that nothing was available.  We figured that is where the concierge could help us.  The answer:  Still no room for us.  So I never figured out the value of the concierge class.  I do seem to remember it included footstools for the balcony.

  6. If I were you, I would look elsewhere -- like an all-inclusive that does accommodate folks in wheelchairs. Remember this:  the cruise lines may be hurting financially.  They (well Carnival, etc) did try to get in on the COVID funding,  But they have chosen to not be based in the U.S. -- hello, to not pay our taxes -- so they were not available for relief funding.  The point is: For that reason, I am not willing to accept less and pay more these days.  Spend your money where you will be taken care of.

I'm honestly trying to understand. I'm looking at the day 6 Equinox menu in the app right now. The Grilled Asparagus salad is not something I would do at home, or have seen locally. It looks interesting. The wedge salad is pretty standard, and I'm hit or miss on the butternut squash soup. The Pasta Fagioli soup looks very good. It might not be, but there's nothing about it that's inherently bad.

Tonight's entrees are Seared Branzino, which I'm a little cautious of because cruise ships tend to overcook fish, turkey parmesan that sounds cautiously interesting, Rigatoni Boscaiola that I'd probably order, if not for the Braised Lamb in phyllo that would be my first choice. Even the vegetarian couscous cake has my attention. None of them are things I'd have at home, and all could be very good.

I see nothing on the day 6 MDR menu that is pitiful. In fact I see several things that are intriguing because they're not something I've had before. And I find that interesting. Not pitiful.

If this is Day 6 of a 7 day cruise, would it not be one of the "up scale" nights?

I’ll just got off celebrity solstice if cabin 1552 on the other side of the hallway is available try that one it is underneath the solarium but in the quiet area underneath that blank spot in the diagram, it was wonderful I didn’t hear any noise.

We have that 1552 cabin for a fall Solstice trip.  Thanks for the noise info.  I take it the little bit of window cleaning equipment was not a problem?

  9. We have the AI/Classic package.  Just hoping we can swap the 2 bottles of wine each for some good NA, like Becks.  For heart reasons, my husband can only drink a couple of real beers a night so he likes to mix in a couple of NAs to stretch his pleasure.

  10. I'm wondering if bringing some NA onboard is allowed.  (we would prefer to bring it instead of wine).  My husband really doesn't like O'Douls.  He will drink Heineken but much prefers Beck's NA.  Does anybody know?
