Just got the same email for my January cruise. It seems like they just went up. Still a minimal cost in the grand scheme of things.

I look forward to my Mediterranean cruise in August. I won't let a potential terrorist attack change my plans. Our cruise was originally supposed to stop in Tunisia, but the terror attacks there last summer made Princess drop the Tunis port. The cruise lines are usually pretty good at monitoring threats

I live in DC where we are always at risk of a terrorist attack. The European travel alert won't change my plans, but I don't judge others who have concerns. Cruises should be enjoyable and if the terror threat cause anxiety why should you spend good money to go?

I look forward to a great cruise in the Mediterranean, but will take the necessary precautions to enjoy my time in Europe while minimizing my exposure to possible violence.
