You are correct. You should not get free drinks for anyone else with your AIB. However, your AIB allows you to purchase bottles of wine at 40% off making the cost quite reasonable. These may be shared. You may do this in the bars and diining room. You can't order it through room service with the discount but can bring the bottle to your room. Since I only drink wine and my husband drinks cocktails this what we do. The AIB packages gets spendy on longer cruises. While he can drink $57 a day in water, coffee, slushes, and cocktails I can't. It makes sense for him but not me.

As part of my booking we were to receive OBC plus speciality dining. Our TA informed us they are giving us a speciality dining. Does this mean we will have 2? The TA's dining shows on our cruise info but the other does not or will it be in our cabin?

Anyone ever stayed in L210. Its near the Spa.

If it's a choice, I'll book L254 for lesser foot traffic.

Don't think it is a glitch. Price is still showing an increase on our cruise. Maybe HA should tell us what is happening?

Our cruise for Oct 2017 to NZ from hawaii has gone up. Didn't have explore4 as we are over 30 days. Glad we booked early.

We have booked our first HA cruise from Hawaii finishing in NZ Oct 5th 2017. My question is if I pre order the pkg is it in the room when we board? It says the beer pkg is delivered to the room on embarkation day but doesn't say that for wine.

As this is just the 2nd cruise we've ever been on consider us really new at this and can use any advise tips from long time cruisers.

There will probably be lots more questions in the future.

Our booking is for a vf. cabin . What is the difference between vf. And va.. Vb. Etc. Is it just Sq ft. Also do they move you up in category?

If you have to go to the Lido Buffet for lunch (we usually go to the MDR for the Mariner embarkation lunch) it is busy, so be sure to select a table first, if there are two of you you can take it in turns to go get your food.

 

Room service lunch is not usually available on embarkation day as all hands are on deck! (delivering baggage).

 

Also be sure to catch the wine/beer steward as he comes by during lunch that day - you can buy beverage cards at that time.

 

If you do not have a balcony, the aft Lido is a great place for sailaway.
