Hello,
I have read somewhere that RC are offering a 20% discount on drink packages when booked before you sail? Can't find anymore info on this.
Does anyone know if this is true and applicable to UK sailings this summer?
Thanks

Hello,
Does anyone know how strict P&O are with kids club and ages?
I have two boys, one will be 3 and one just turned 5 when we cruise and I would have preferred to put them in the same kids year group. I know the age is 2-4 then 5-8.
Many thanks

Hello
I stayed in room 1824 deck 12 on explorer in June.
The room was fantastic. It was first time for us cruising and being honest didn't hardly feel the boat moving.
The view is incredible and the location is great.
It was much quieter also, lifts quicker etc. Plus so easy to get to pool.
You are directly below top sun bathing deck so no noise in the night.
I would definitely go this room or deck again.

We are on Ventura and it is a sea day Christmas Day so had expected a formal night

Great thanks for confirming

What do P&O expect children to wear on formal nights?
Shirt and tie or bow without jacket acceptable?
Thanks

Hello,
Would anyone know whether Christmas Day on board is normally a formal or casual night?
It is a sea day.
-
Thanks
Looks like I will just have to make do.
As we are at sea in christmas day would you expect this or know if this would be a formal night?

Looking to travel On the Ventura over Christmas with 2 young children, 2 and 4 yrs. had a look at the inside sleeping setup and am not keen out the over bed beds, what other options do they offer?
Thanks

I think what the above poster is trying to say that in the right hand pool there is a kind of shallow part that is around 4 foot in length and width before the pool drops into the main pool. This area is covered by a few inches of water.
There is the same on the other pool but smaller and yes my kids did paddle their feet in it as its big enough for this. As did many other small children.
We got off on the 29th June.
And as I said before above there are two chefs in the windjammer at the back cooking fried eggs and omelettes fresh, I should know I had one nearly everyday:)
Happy to answer any other questions, have also just posted a review, not up yet.
I travelled with my wife and two boys 3 and 2 and had a great time.

I got off Monday and can completely confirm there is a fresh egg station in the windjammer for fried eggs and great omelettes.
Any more questions please feel free to ask.

My little boy turns 4 on 23rd of this month whilst we are cruising on Explorer.
Have looked at the celebration packages they offer and the deluxe package sounds not bad. Has anyone any experience of these?
Also, what would the chances of taking our own cake onboard?
Thanks

What is the preferred/best currency to tip additionally at the end of the cruise?
Sailing from UK, so UK based.
Thanks
-
Sorry can anyone answer whether the explorer provides small blow paddling pools or do people bring there own?
Thanks
-
Are there any pools/splash areas for young children on this ship?
Thanks
-
I am also interested in deck 12, the ne panoramic rooms.
Anybody have any feedback who have sailed already?
Thanks
-
And would anyone know if things like Smirnoff ice would be covered by a drinks package? If so what one?
-
Looking to upgrade one drinks package from select to premium,
Am I right in saying it's £10 per day extra?
Worth doing on board or now or does it make no difference?
-
Thanks for info

When we were on Ventura at Christmas they would only allow to take a bottle in the evening.
