  1. Our favorite overnight was Cuba on Paradise. One full day, that night and left at noon the following day. They allowed us to bring and open liquor purchased in Cuba. The top decks were loaded that night with empty bottles of rum and Cuban cigar butts everywhere. It was extremely memorable for many reasons but was one of our favorite cruises. This was 2018.

  2. okay, so sprit and fantasy class fit in Tampa and Jax. Does anyone know how much Conquest class are too large for those ports? I know its height. Can they just shorten the funnel?

A few years ago on the Elation they had a similar offering but it was basically the seafood shack. It was outside dining around the lido area, menu looked pretty much like the seafood shack and servers waited on you. Considering they didn't have a seafood shack, I thought this was a nice gesture. I've been on the Elation several times and that was the only time I saw it offered.

    THIs^^^

We also enjoyed this. Had tables with checkered tablecloths by the pool area with limited seating. It was a great meal and very enjoyable. Seafood was tasty and plentiful.

  4. great idea with the ice in the cooler as addition. Those are hit and miss.

Worth looking for thermostat in those as well. usually of top or "roof" of fridge.

Last week on Pride, some of the soda were frozen. But had one on celebration that was only about 55-60 deg.

It is hit and miss for sure

  5. We typically book carmival excursions, but have went private in the past. used Viator to locate private companies. These companies need positive reviews and tend to be really reliable.

We did find a private sunset sail charter in Bonaire that was prob one of the best excursions ever. The private companies tend to have small or no crowd. They also tend to take a personal interest.

  6. For our upcoming cruise this month. the organizer is from Canada and is not subject to US taxes. Let see what the outcome looks like. This is $10 per spin and $100 buy in.

Did some quick calculating.  1% of Carnival cruises go to Bonaire, not one of which is less than 8 days. 26% go to the Bahamas. and many are 4 days or less.

It's not like you can easily swap out Bonaire for the Bahamas at will.

Correct, Just our perspective. Been on 24 cruises and only once to Bonaire. So 4.17% of our cruises.

  8. Congrats.

-You will need to call room service for your free chocolate delight. We typically ask for cookies instead.

-As mentioned, Pixels for pin/gifts . Casino for $25, Any bar for water.

-Laundry is really great for not delicate items. I wish we had self control to bring LESS clothing and let team do laundry...just never happens.

    - Early boarding time selection is nice too.
