If you are doing the White Pass Railway. Sit on the left side of the train, You want the mountain on your right as you leave the station. When you get to the top. The seats you sit in will just reverse. The train doesn't turn around.

About 90 minute ride on the bus to and from Disney. Not worth the trip. Even though it is not the busy season, lines will still be long. You need at least a full day just for Disney World. That's not including Epcot, MGM studios, etc. You need at least 4 days. Go to Cape Canaveral. The Space center.

You will be using the ships cell tower while at sea. You will be charged about a dollar a minute, plus roaming charges. Can get quite expensive. When in port, you will use the local cell towers. They have both AT&T and Verizon.

If anything a passport is excellent at the airport. The ease of going thru the gate with your passport makes the lines go faster. I just renewed my passport. Got a picture at Costco. 5.00. Filled out a form downloaded on line for passports and sent in $110.00. So easy now, and then good for another 10 years. For those that fly a lot, apply for a Known Traveler Number. $85.00 for 5 years. You get to go in the preferred lines at the airport. Belts, shoes, laptops and liquids don't need to be shown. Security is a breeze.

What port are you sailing from? Makes a big difference. So does you cabin if its a suite or not. Suites will be ready early. Otherwise, 1 or after. Luggage could get to your cabin between 4-6.

If she wants to drink and you don't, just split the cost between the 3 of you and pay for her drinks. The average cost of a soft drink would be about 5.00 everytime and you would have to drink about 10-15 a day to cover that.

Since that is one of the earliest cruises of the season to Alaska, probably nothing will be available. Alaska has some of the highest fares for travel. We live in the Seattle area and went to Alaska once. Too expensive.

As a Platinum member doing laundry service, what is the turn around time for laundry? I know that when the ships does its one bag for the whole ship it is in by Wednesday out by Friday afternoon. Not much leeway for cutting down on luggage.

the best thing to do is to get an early start to get the boarding tickets. Sometimes you can pick them up the night before. after 8pm

The airport is Seattle can be a pain with the security lines. Especially with cruise travel days. If you have a Pre-check from TSA its a breeze, otherwise the lines can be very long. The lines can reach 45 minutes easy. If one travels a lot by plane getting the pre-check from TSA is well worth the $85.00. Its good for 5 years.

We were on the spirit a few years ago. She was designed for the far east. Smaller rooms, smaller than all of the NCL ships today. I don't know if they have gone into dry dock lately. The buffet line is a little cramped.

We have had connecting cabins on many of NCL's cruises. You lose nothing and you can't hear any sounds from the rooms. The beds are on the opposite walls of the cabins.

We have had one cruise of our many on an inside. Never again. You have to have the light of day and night. Top be able to open your sliding door if you get a balcony or better. Enjoy those 14 days and your 40th anniversary.

We go for the connecting room everytime. That way, I know where the bed is located in the cabin. We have never heard any noises come from the connecting rooms. The doors are very secure. The beds are at the opposite side of the doors. So you will never hear what is going on next door. Have fun and enjoy the trip.....Never worry about the little things. It's a trip........

The ship may move more by being near the bow of the ship. We have always been near the bow of the ship. I have actually felt worse midships on deck 7 shen there is a lot of motion. Don't know why though. We were on the Jade in Feb and had only one night of bad weather, anad hardly felt it. I really enjoy the rough seas.:)

Yes the points will transfer to the new card. This happened to us also. Any fraudulent charges that are credited back to your account, The credit card company will alos subtract any points that were gined by those transactions. It would be the same as if nothing happened. If you look on line for your account at BAC, you will have 2 accounts listed for 2-3 months. No problem there, it is their procedure. You may even get a bill from the old account with no balance. Just keep an eye on the accounts on line. :)

With the BOA NCL card, you can at any time view your transactions on line. Check you balances and any activity. You can also print out your monthly statements if needed.:)
