..without causing too many issues. It’ll be me, my husband, our daughter (17) and her friend (17). I know I have to put one adult and one teen in one room(sky class suite)and one adult and 1 teen in another ( interior) but can my husband and I use the concierge amenities (CK, lounge, etc) ? My daughter or her friend won’t use them so I’m not trying to use it for more people than I’m paying for, if that makes sense. There are no suite level rooms available for our cruise that have a separate bedroom for the teens so I was just curious if this would work.

I usually book our cruises direct because I’m a control freak but this is a very last minute cruise so shouldn’t need to do anything once I book. I wouldn’t mind some onboard credit and I know you can’t recommend a TA but is there anywhere I can go to see a list of recommended TA’s? I see lots on online but is there anyway to make sure they are reputable or nowadays are most safe? Also, I assume I’ll be able to use the cruise planner online once booked, is that right?

Yes, I did 2 people both times. Tried it again and it still reduces it to $125 if I add a second room, both with 2 people.

When I try to book a balcony room it shows me a $225 OBC, when I change it to 2 rooms, the balcony room OBC changes to $125. Am I doing something wrong, or they just taking away part of the OBC because of booking a second room. The second room is an indoor room and it's $75OBC stays the same.

You have to be 21 from what I’ve read to be booked in a studio.

Am I allowed to book me and my daughter (19) in one room and book my husband in a studio but let me daughter sleep in the studio? I know we can do stuff like this with 2 regular rooms but not sure if a studio room requires a certain card or wristband to get in and out. She wouldn’t have to use the lounge.

Great, thanks so much for the info :)

I looked at the deck plans and don't see them there either. Do you have to call to see if they are available?
-
Got it. I guess because I have never seen them listed anywhere I didn't know they existed. I didn't even see them on the Carnival website under staterooms.
Thanks for the info!

I saw on someone's trip report about an upgrade fairy call to an owners suite and hated to jump on their thread with this question, but is there an owner's suite on the Ecstasy? We booked a junior suite because at the time that was the only suite available, but just saw where a grand suite is now open. Is that the same as an owner's suite, the CCL website pics looked nothing like the pics the person posted. We are going in a few weeks and live in Charleston and are looking forward to a quick easy getaway.

Perfect, thank you! I'll look it up, but any idea how far it is from the port?

Are there any excursions or beach areas with hobie cats in Nassau that we can rent? We don't usually get off the boat in Nassau, but we did an all-inclusive hotel a while back and my husband really enjoyed sailing a hobie cat so thought it might be fun if there is a place nearby that has.

Does anyone know why I'm only offered a Grand Suite if I enter 4 people, but if I change it to 2 it doesn't show up anymore? I know it happens the other way around with occupancy issues but I've never seen it happen this way?
Also, are GS deposits refundable ?

Thanks for the heads up, mnventure. You would think they would notify us before we got to the port but as long as they can "fix" it at check-in it's fine. So much for not holding up the line :)

NCL said they had to be in a room next door to the parents, when we did RCCL they had to be next door or directly across the hall.
-
I assume they are all linked because I booked them all but I call now to double check, thanks!

Perfect, thank you!

We are a group of 6, 3 separate rooms and I just don't want to hold up the line.
It's me and my husband in a room on deck 9, another couple in a room and our daughter and theirs (both 16yo) in a room beside them on deck 8. I called and booked all the rooms but they are all separate reservations but when I went to do the edocs I had to call and get them set up because they are minors. Should we all go to one desk and check in together or should the girls be with us since I made the reservation or with them since they are beside their room. Sorry if that's confusing but thanks for any help :)

Is there a link of which specialty restaurants are cruise casual and which are smart casual, we are on the Jade? Mainly asking where I can wear cute dressy shorts or where I should to throw on a dress.
From the NCL website:
CRUISE CASUAL
Dress cruise casual anytime during the day, in the buffet and in most specialty restaurants. For women, it includes summer and casual dresses, skirts, regular or capri pants, shorts, jeans and tops. Khakis, jeans, shorts and casual shirts are fine for men.
SMART CASUAL
Dress smart casual in our more formal dining room or in our more upscale specialty restaurants. For women, it includes slacks or jeans, dresses, skirts and tops. For men, it's jeans or slacks with a collared shirt and closed-toed shoes.

On the Jade, are there only 2 pools and one is just marked "adults only"?

Awesome article!!

Exactly what I was looking for!
We are excited to try out the Jade:)

On previous cruises (other lines) when you board they usually point you to the main buffet area but on these boards I usually find suggestions for a place that is open that is not nearly as crowded. Any other restaurants/areas open on the Jade to get food?
Thanks!

I've searched here and on google but not finding too much info. I did read you can't always use the forward facing balcony's while at sea because of the wind but not much else, does anyone have any links to any reviews of this room or the ones next to it?
Thanks!
One suite, one not, can I do this with teens...

We were looking at a crown loft suite so there aren't any rooms across, but I do see some owners suite available so I am going to call and see is there are any with interior rooms across from them. Will our teens be able to embark/disembark with us, other than that we probably won't see them much after that :) I know reserved seating at shows, the lounge, etc won't be available to them which is fine.
