Our last cruise in 2012 had an ATM on board but it was "out of service" from Day 2 until the end of he cruise. Guest services told us it was out of cash--as opposed to be broken--and wouldn't be restocked until after we disembarked.

I've search and found lots of great links and information about what ship is in what port on what day and what other ships are in the same port--very helpful.
My question though is when there is more than one dock/pier in a port I can't seem to find which one my ship is using. It's not on RCCL's website--as far as I can tell . And my TA say she doesn't have access to that information.
Anyone have ideas about where to get this information?
Thanks!

Another update: the emails worked! But was told that the "layout of the restaurant" would not accommodate 12 guests" but that they would put us at two tables near each other. Very nice. Quick response.

I am sailing on the Freedom in 5 days about 6 weeks ago I called Royal Caribbean as we have 12 Adults travelling together all our reservations are linked and I had no problems booking Chops, Giovannis and Sabor for parties of 12 for dinner. Good luck and I would definitely call.
Thanks. I tried calling and was told the only way to adjust it is to contact Chops onboard. I have sent an email to addresses Julesbeara provided. Hopefully I'll have some luck that way.
Have a great cruise!!

Try emailing: ad_restaurantoperationscoordinator@rccl.com, ad_restaurantoperationsmanager@rccl.com, and
rcldining@rccl.com. I would include Stateroom #'s and Last Names on your request. I think there might be a new or recently boarded Concierge on the Adventure getting up to speed delaying their response.
Jules--you are my spiritual guide! Thank you!!

Just an update. No word back from the concierge but I did contact my TA who was able to make a res for 10 and separate one for two and I'll try to work it out when I get onboard.

What is your sailing date? I'm sailing on Adventure March 18-25 and although Chops is listed on the RCCL website as being available as of March 4th it is still not listed in my cruise planner.
We are booked on the March 29, 2017 sailing. Chops is on the cruise planner but it won't let me book for more than my cabin.
No word back from the concierge yet.

If you're in a Grand Suite or better, I'd contact the Concierge and try to get them to make the arrangements.
Thanks, Bob. We are in a Grand Suite, but I thought I heard that the concierges weren't taking advance requests any longer. I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask.

So, I've tried to search for the answer to my question without success. I know this has been discussed but I just can't find it.
Here goes: Chops reservations are now available to book for my cruise at the end of the month (March) on Adventure of the Seas. They limit reservations to ten people. What's the best way to get a reservation for 12 people (if it's possible at all) in advance? If it helps at all we're Diamond and will be in a suite. None of the others are, but we are planning to book and pay for the whole group. We booked through a TA, any chance they could make it happen?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks, Clarea. I guess I saw something specific to one sailing.
Do you know what the largest table is? How many they will seat together? I assume it's 8 or 10? We're a group of 12 so trying to figure things out! Thanks again.

Thank you both for the quick response!
I have another question that I know is on here somewhere but my searches are not coming up with anything. Maybe I'm using the wrong search terms?
Anyone have a link/photo to the MDR seating chart?
Thanks in advance.

I may have missed this, where is Chops going, what deck and where? It seems I've seen contradicting accounts, but they may have been best guesses.
Thanks!

I've used the one in the link provided by Mary521 and many others from the Dollar Store, Target, etc. as others have said there is plenty of storage but the benefit of the shoe hanger is that everything is in one place and you can readily see it all. Haven't traveled with kids in my cabin but I'd think it would help keep everything, well, organized.

As others have said, the cruiseline requests no shorts in the dining room. Polo shirts are fine. Perhaps on your cruise 20 years ago you ate at an alternative to the main dining room where shorts were allowed? Or maybe it was a different cruiseline?
Either way, these boards are exactly for these kinds of questions, for clarification. If you're cruising again--have fun!!

There is also a chocolate restaurant in OSJ. Everything on the menu has chocolate involved in it somehow. It's called casa Cortez chocolate bar. Was a must do for us.
I've only heard talk of this. Would love to try it!!

This is great news! Thanks for sharing it.
Does it go without saying that the mattresses will be replaced at the same time? I've heard they are getting tired.
-
This certainly on my list now!!!
-
If it's available, it will show up in your Cruise Planner.
Thanks. Just checked my planner and no discount. :( I wonder if it's triggered by how long before you sail. I really want the discount.
-
Is the 20% discount still available? I can't seem to find it on the website. TIA

Really??? I would be offended if I were a steward and you wanted to give me money for my shore time! These people are grown-ups! With families, bank accounts, bills and a job. This would be like giving little Johnny money for his big trip to the dime store! Just tip them at the end and they will be happy.
I guess that's where we disagree. I've done it many times and it didn't seem to cause offense. I get your point about not treating stewards as children, you're quite right, but often the steward is young enough to be my (adult) son, and a bit of cash as a thoughtful gesture before they go ashore is just that, a way to express my gratitude. To each their own.

Eight consecutive sea days and I loved it. Would have loved more. Not all my traveling companions felt the same.

See answers in RED above.
Can you give an example of an extra charge entree in the MDR? It's been a few years since I've been on RCCL.
-
Can you give the vouchers to someone else (per policy/ethically)?
-
Any thoughts about how difficult it is to get reimbursed if for some reason you have to cancel after you've pre-paid one of the packages?

In GS 1248 two weeks ago and mattress was fine. A bit firm but really comfortable. And there was a bit of noise off and on from the deck above--solely from chairs being dragged about.
