I have question- I've heard lots of people say "get a porter"... How does one get a porter on Embarkation/Disembarkation? Is there a formal process? Do you look for people in a certain color shirt? Ask at guest services?

We have 4 rooms booked on 11 for our October 2017 Freedom cruise and we are SUPER Excited about being in that area close to everything! Hope you love it! Let us know when you get back! :)

We did Camp Ocean when my daughter had just turned 3 and she LOVED IT! She wasn't fully potty trained either, but she did know to tell the counselors when her pull up was wet and they would contact me to change her. It is imperative that mom and dad go to the registration time on the first day because the counselors will get some additional info on the child and they will give mom and dad a cell phone for the counselors to contact them directly. You don't need her shot records and she will wear a name tag everyday so that the counselors will know her name and make sure they have the correct info sheet for her. I bet she will love it, my daughter still asks to go back to camp carnival on the "BIG BOAT" every week! :)

We had our 3 year old in Camp Ocean in 2015 and we loved it! the staff were great, my daughter has been wanting to go back on the dream ever since. it was great!

I have two cruises booked right now, same boat, same port, one 198 days out and one 462 days out.

 

I was able to pick my check in time for the first cruise when I booked at 267 days. The 2nd cruise still does not show the ability to choose a check in at 462 days. I check often. So, it shows up somewhere between 462 and 267.

We also are about 400 days out from a cruise and haven't had the option to pick a check in time yet :) can't wait to go out of Galveston. :)

We also have a cruise reserved for 2017 and the check in time is not available, and I know that our port is one doing staggered check in. I believe ours is not available because we have not fully paid for our cruise yet. If you're in the same boat, that may be the reason.

When we were on the dream last year, we played cards in the atrium area (?) near the guest services desk-- they have chairs set up with a table between them and you should be able to accommodate 4 people there. Also, there is a bar right there so you don't have to go far to get a drink :)

We went to Doctors Cave beach with my just-turned 3 year old at the time and she loved it! it had food, umbrellas, nice beach, good water, etc.

Hello-

We are going on a multi generational cruise in 2017. My mother would like to do a cultural/historical tour in Nassau that would be small and stopping at the highlights throughout the Island, not just a bus ride with a tour guide.

Does anyone have any recommendations? We looked at the offerings from CCL and they do not look like what she is wanting. We have also looked at a private tour guide and it looks potentially do-able. Just looking for suggestions.

Hello-- We are booked for a cruise in October 2017 from Galveston and am curious when they open up the Embarkation choices on the booking? I've done our check-in and everything and don't see any options for embarkation times. Am I looking in the wrong place or do they wait closer to the sail date?
