I spent 35 minutes on the phone yesterday. When I went to book last week our check out total was $809 (for 2) when we got the 20% notice on Tuesday we ordered it and paid $726. Which ok I'll take 10% but seriously don't lie about - when I called they told me oh no the premium package is $59- no it's not I have screen shots of my check out last week that I sent to a friend at the $49- I posted on their face book site they surprisingly haven't responded

Tried finding a photo in my albums of your view, this is the closest I have. You will be above Vintages/Giovanni's area ( same as us) you should have a great view the nights there is music down there. You are far enough away from the pool where if you want to nap it shouldn't bother you. Close to stairs / elevators. Only a few doors from the one we picked this trip

We have 10589 (I guess he got 10th floor again not 11th) balcony over Vintages- great view of the live music at Central Park

We had 10 last time and it was great- we are on 11 this time because we wanted to be further forward on CP(away from pool) so we are above Giovanis

We had Drew on our last Oasis, and sadly this was from last August which was right after he came in Oasis from July to October. I would love to have him on again, but I think this is last summer/fall listing :(

We've begun playing the field as well. I still want to try Celebrity and HAL. I don't know that I'll ever want to go on NCL, but we'll see what happens.
Have fun and please come back and tell us how you enjoyed your NCL cruise. I love reviews that compare lines. :)
We are doing RC, Royal :)

I know what you mean.
I don't know, I guess I would have said the same in the past. We have done Carnival and have one booked in March for a group of around 20 friends, it's the closest ship from home so traveling is easier. Still our average flights were $600 per couple, the 7 night cruise for interior was $1500 or $1750for a balcony. Both options with a $75 onb per cabin.
He and I actually had already booked a 7 night on Oasis of the Seas for October. We have a balcony room and with gratuity and insurance were out the door at $1862 for the two of us, plus we got $200 obc for the cabin and got two free robes to keep.. For a ship with so much more to offer. Yes, because we are flying across the country our flight is a little higher, coming in at around $800. The drink package is a bit higher, about $10 per person per day. But it includes specialty coffees and if only one of us wants it, we don't bother have to purchase it. I'm really glad we looked around, I'm excited to try RCL and the Oasis

The gratuity is on the package, so you pay the $49 ( or whatever they claim the price is that day) plus 18% gratuity. You will get a slip with each drink that will have a zero balance to sign. You can add additional tip to that if you choose.
