Thanks guest, anything special about the "3".. So, if this was your 1st time at west bay,where would you pick for your snorkeling.. Keep in mind we are not 'young '.. You folks are really great,okay,a few more questions.how long of a walk is it from bananarama to tyabana ,and the "wall". Is snorkeling as good there as at the "kidney" area. Also,how far of a swim from shore to the kidney and to the better snorkeling..any thoughts of lunch spots at the beach.. .ready for a "monkey lala"".... Mike

Please clarify ,where is the iguana wall,and the big rock island.can we rent just lounge chairs at tyabana useing our own taxi ride.. This site has been sooo, helpful. You guys and gals are a big help .we will be in roatan april 4th.. Thanks again.

jane,our next cruise is a weekend on the majesty,aug 27th,for our anniversary.. we might do a b2b..we are very friendly with the officers and staff on the mj..we refer to them as our "rc family".had to cancel our oct radiance cruise.. most likely will have rotator cuff surgery around that time.dont want my arm in a sling for 6 weeks during hurricane season.. we live in sw florida, south of sarasota.would like to keep in touch.yes we also loved the radiance alaska cruise in "08.. here is my e-mail if you would like to contact us..mikensuenfl@yahoo.com

Jane, thanks again for the wonderful review..sue and i still talk about it.. Like i mentioned in an earlier post our serenade cruise this past may was our 60th cruise on rccl..we really believe that it was our best cruise ever..i dont know if you know this ,but the serenade is the number 1 rated ship in the fleet .all of the staff are super happy and they work so well together..looking forward to next may again..dearly hope that pramod will be on board..again,great job, hope one day to cruise with you.. Jane,keep it going,don't stop.enjoying your review..karen,we love to snorkel we have our own equipment so we always do our own thing.. Did some research on st croix.. We signed up with cane bay dive.. No problem with the company. They taxi you to the beach...you snorkel from the beach.. However,when we got in the water we saw almost no coral and very ,very, few fish.. The beach was also nothing special..bottom line, for us ,it was a wasted day .we would not go back to cane bay.. Of course ,thats just our opinion..however ,after 60 cruises with rc,and a lot of snorkeling days ,this was a big disappointment.. Mike

Jane,keep it going.fyi,on st croix we went to cane bay to snorkel..not good at all.would not go back..when we were in st marten we rented a car.. We have done this a couple of times from the same agency.. Works out great.this last trip we went to maho beach,got some great pics and videos of the planes landing and taking off .then we went to gran case for bq lunch.. Paul, when are you going on the serenade next may.. We are booked again may 7th.. Would love to go b2b.. Mike

Jane, great review so far.. So much like our cruise this past may..we also had breakfast everyday with the waiters that you talk about.. They started the days off on a great note.. Jeong"dr' is a real character..we have e-mailed a few times already..he is a new father.yes,we had a lovely dinner with capt karin.. Simeon is a very good cd..we have cruised with rc 60 times. In fact that was our 60th cruise with rc.. I agree, pramod is a great guy, the best...we know him for many years..we also liked valley church .on barbados we went to paynes beach on our own.. We swam out and swam with the turtles..this is the beach that the tours go.. In fact we were swimming with the tour folks.bty, my oldest son lives in charlotte..looking forward to the rest of your review.. Mike

wow, a lot in common with you. our 1st cruise was the song of america for our 25 anniversary..we will be on the majesty for our 44th in august.. back to the serenade.we sailed on her this past may..this was our second time on the serenade.. we are very good friends with the maitre"de pramod.. super nice man.. we had a great time,in fact we have rebooked for next may.. we had fantastic service and had dinner with capt karin..it sounds like you may have had dinner with her also.hope so,hope you post more.. mike
