Gemini's Australia season itinerary is very tempting however, is there enough to do with so many sea days. Singapore-Fremantle is on my list but it has 7 sea days!Anyone could offer advice on the activities?

I don't think its very fair to label the rules and regulations of other countries as scam. Each sovereign country have the right to introduce their own law and although the customs regulation might not be smooth/is redundant, it does not warrant the word "scam" Passengers who were caught in such misfortunate incident should blame no one as rules are clearly stated if some research is done.
What everybody can do and should do is find out information/ask if you're in doubt thus unpleasant situations can be avoided and/or provide feedback if there are flaws.
All in no harm :) Enjoy your cruises everyone!

I believe Colin was just onboard to give talks about ports and disembarked in Bangkok for shore duty. He is currently onboard the Aquarius and by September, will most probably be due for vacation. I have a feeling he'll be on the Australia cruises.
Sorry to hear about the Norovirus incident! Wish everybody the best of health

I was able to book the Aquarius for the June 17 sailing from Singapore to Hong Kong in two weeks. Are there any updates?
Ship is already in dry-dock and most staff transferred over. Entertainment highlights have already been posted and in about 12 days time, we'll see the Aquarius operating her first cruise!
I'll also be onboard the relocation cruise.

Will popular Scot Colin Kerr be Cruise Director on SS Gemini Asian Oddysey departing Singapore 20/05/07 ? Thought I saw something that he was back from a stint with NCL and doing a stint on Gemini along with rotations over SS Virgo and on shore duties in Asia as Senior Cruise Director for Stars Asian operations . Any info appreciated.
He will be Cruise Director again onboard the Gemini for today's(April 1st) weekly sailing. After this, he will be on vacation(most probably back to his hometown) till mid-may. He will be back onboard the Superstar Virgo for a special project however Ms. Eloisa Diaz will be Cruise Director till mid-June.
So, no, 99% says that he will not be on the Gemini for the Asian Oddysey. He MIGHT go over to the Aquarius to inaugurate the ship though as he is Fleet Cruise Director, just a guess.

Star Cruises has sold all their cabins to one travel agent here in Singapore. As of yesterday they have only 50 pot-holes cabins left.
I thought only balcony is fully-booked. As far as I know, window; porthole; inside are still available. Maybe theres only 50 left with the particular agency.

anybody booked for her "maiden" voyage yet??? its so exciting as the arrival into hong kong coincides with the anniversary of some sort(a huge event i heard).

No worries, I guess she was just trying to be spontaneous but everybody have different expectation. She is new to the company if Im not wrong.
I guess I'll skip the Gemini for Australia. Im extremely afraid of itinerary with lots of sea days after the QM2.
