  2. I was able to get it resent to me. Looks like I have late dining which I am reading may cause an issue seeing any of the shows due to the MDR being slower than usual... we shall see! Thank you all!
  3. Sadly, not on mine. I did get an updated boarding pass today with my boarding time pushed back (now to 2:30!) but no dining notation. Tried that... no luck but thank you.
  4. I have emailed to request it; thanks! It's the only thing I can think of as I have searched 4 different ways. It would be great if it were available online along with other important items. I've found HAL's website (this is our first HAL cruise) to be overall less user friendly for me than Princess, Carnival, or RC. *sigh*
  5. Thank you so much. I am afraid I inadvertently deleted the email with the Booking Confirmation on it (all I can find this morning is my boarding pass). I guess I can just wait and be surprised!
  6. This is really a dumb question but how do I see what dining time I am supposed to be in? I am looking at my itinerary and I just don't see it.
  7. Oh, I hadn't thought of that. Ok thank you very much! Glad to know we can still carry it off, though. I'd rather just get off the ship as soon as I am ready vs. having to wait around somewhere. It's a 'regular' size suitcase (I'd definitely have to check it if I were flying) so I am thinking it probably won't fit in their xray machine... thank you very much.
  8. We have just been assigned a boarding time and it is quite late (2:10). Can we expect that our rooms will be ready by that time? (It is usually around 1 that rooms are ready on the other lines we have been on). If so, can just bring our suitcase with us rather than "checking" it since we can go straight to the room? And, can we carry it off during disembarkation? (We usually take much shorter cruises so we are used to only having a backpack).

Regarding the "check in" process on the HAL website (we leave in about 30 days): Every time I go into it to "manage my cruise" it makes me go through ALL the steps again (emergency contact into, health attestation, etc). It does seem to save the actual information, but it still takes me through every single step to "save and continue." Am I doing something wrong? I really just want to get to the end to complete my check in and find out when my boarding time is.
  10. First cruise on HAL coming up end of November! Are the refrigerators on HAL ships (specifically Konigsdam, if it matters) actual refrigerators, or are they more of a 'cooler' where they will stay cool if you place an ice bucket in them? I've read about that (although never actually done it) on other lines' boards. An actual fridge might come in handy, although it's not a must-have. Thank you!

  12. Ah... OK thank you very much. I wish they had allowed me to put the gratuities in my cart at the original time of purchase!! Would have saved me a trip to the service desk upon boarding!
  13. Rather than starting yet another thread, I wondered if I may tag on to this one? I paid for our first ever HAL cruise using gift cards. I had enough left over on the last card to cover the cost for the pre-paid grats; however, it doesn't seem I can pay for that using a gift card. How can I use the last $216 on that card? And, Is there a way to see on my booking that I have the Have it All package included? I don't see anywhere that it says that. Thank you!

  15. Newbie question: Do all rooms have a mini bar or just certain ones? (We are not interested in having one).
  16. I asked my dad (i am barely under the age to get an AARP membership) to log in for me today and look. He says he can't find them. I don't know whether they're truly gone, or he just isn't sure where to search.
  17. We are looking at our first HAL cruise (just a shorter one to check it out and see if we like it) on the Konigsdam. We are looking for something more refined than Carnival, but with good entertainment. We appreciate good live music (instrumental/vocal) and we also appreciate good "production" shows (like mini musicals). I know we probably aren't going to get a mini musical on HAL but I am hoping the live music will make up for it. Thank you for this review. Although our "test" cruise will just be down to Cabo (we likely won't get off the ship), this is helpful to read about.
  18. Thank you for this tidbit as I didn't know it was a change from anything they had done prior. I'm lazy so I will probably use the one in the room!
  19. I am excited to have the drink package for the first time because it includes specialty coffee drinks. I only drink "foofie" coffee as my husband puts it (usually sweetened lattes and such).
  20. Yes, both names say completed and both names have a green check above them. At the top it still says "please complete vaccination status." I just logged back in again this morning to look and it still looks the same. I also hope it's just a glitch! We will of course take our cards but I don't want any trouble at check in!
