Greeting! I am looking for a referral for our first cruise on Seabourn in late June 2024. We have two bookings. Please let me know if one of you past guests would like to help me out.
Thanks.

Encorehere, Azamara is compiling information and may well have transfers from the city center. They just need to tabulate the responses. The lady I spoke with said the emails went out before they should have - imagine that - and they will be making decisions soon. She also told me no need to fill out the form by April 4, but we did. Not taking any chances. We are flying in 3 days early as are many others, so I think the chances of a city center bus are good.
Thank you bz!

The email I received only has VCE to/fr Ravenna transfer information, I will arrive Venice early and really wish they have transfer service from Venice city center. I tried to call Azamara several times and always on hold for hours then phone got disconnected. Any one know if transfer from Venice city center to Ravenna is offered? If so I would greatly appreciate if you can share the email and link to sign up. Thanks in advance!

It sounds to me like your best bet is to that the shuttle with your parents and buy the 20# ticket. It's only a short flat walk to get on the Hop Off Hop On bus and you round ride around and get off (and on at the castle.). It eventually brings you to where the shuttle bus takes you back to ship. And you'd have a full day of sightseeing with narration.

Thank you Steve!

Really appreciate all the information!
We will be traveling with my parents on Royal Princess Jun 18-30 and stop in Edinburgh on Jun 27. I think taking train or shuttle then walk uphill to Edinburgh castle entrance will be too much for my parents but interested to take the shuttle for return trip. Can I pay the shuttle driver directly when get on-board the bus? Or I have to purchase tickets in Queensferry?
Also I am under the impression that it's not easy to hail taxi in Queensferry, thinking I should book it in advance, where is any ideal spot or is there a designated location in Queensferry for taxi pick up?
Thanks in advance!

Greeting,
Planning the trip for mom and dad's Jan 03 S. America cruise aboard Emerald Princess. First day of the cruise is Jan 03, the ship will stay over night in Buenos Aires that evening and sail at 6pm on Jan 04. On Princess confirmation it says guests need to check-in by 4pm.
Mom and dad like to visit Iguazu Falls pre-cruise, the logistic I work out is they will fly from AEP (Bueno Aires domestic airport) to IGR on Jan 01 around noon and fly back to AEP on Jan 03 afternoon, flight scheduled arrival time is 3:40pm, online research show it's normal these flights delay 30+ mins. Regardless, there's no way my parents' can make the 4pm check-in deadline even if this flight arrive on time. There is an earlier flight depart IGR at 8:20am and arrive AEP at 10:15am. Mom and Dad are in their mid 70's, fairly good physical condition but 8:20am flight means they need to get up around 5am, I am thinking it would be too tiresome for them.
I called Princess inquire about late check-in, the lady told me it is possible for guests to check-in after 4pm but for guests arrive late it's possible they won't be able to leave the ship on Jan 04, she said guest need to be cleared by Argentina immigration officers after check-in before they leave the ship on Jan 04, and she has no information what time will Argentina immigration officers will return the next day, it's totally up to the immigration officers.
Does anyone here has late-check in experience in Buenos Aires? Any information is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Dear All,
I am helping a friend reserve shore excursions for her 2018 Jan 09 Southeast Asia cruise, and notice Princess now requires advance payment for shore excursions now. Here is the message when try to confirm the excursion:
"Unpaid excursion(s) in your shopping cart will clear within 24 hours. Please move excursion(s) you will not buy today to your wish list."
Attached is the shopping cart screenshot.
Anyone else experience the same for other itineraries? Thank you~

Really appreciate you share thoughts of my itinerary, Coromandel peninsula sounds like a good idea and I am looking into that now! :)

Thank you for all the valuable information!!! :)
My parents and I will be sailing on Celebrity Solstice Dec 16~Dec 28, 2015. I am overwhelmed at work and did not do much trip planning yet, your posts really helps.
We'll arrive Auckland on Dec 12 evening. My parents are in their early 70's and both in fairly good physical condition, I like to check out Hobbiton and Waitomo cave but don't want to do it within one day to avoid long drive. Here is what I am thinking:
12.12 flight land AKL around 6:30pm, take taxi or airport bus to Auckland CBD. Stay two nights in Auckland.
12.13 city tour, maybe take ferry to Waiheke Island
12.14 rent a car from Auckland downtown Avis, drive south to Waitomo, Waitomo Cave tour, then head to Rotorua Gondola, stay over night in Rotorua
12.15 visit Agrodome farm for the sheep show and tour, and take the Hobbiton tour in the afternoon, return to Auckland this evening.
12.16 return car back to Avis and take a taxi to cruise terminal. (can I drop off luggage to cruise terminal early? Like maybe 10am? I am thinking to keep the car till afternoon to drive to Auckland North.)
Any suggest to add or modify the route? Any scenic route I should take or attractions on the way I should check out?
Thanks in advance!!
