I totally agree. It's a 5 day cruise. Parking at the port is $200. Parking at LGA will be $100+ and round trip taxi about $100. It's a wash.

Due to jet skis and that the area designated for the ships excursion is very small and crowded. Also in the reviews people said the peddlers were annoying.

We are a big family (7) and I'm trying to not do excursions on every island because of the cost. Is the pool area in Amber Cove nice? Is it a nice way to spend the day? I tried searching for pictures online and can't find any.

From reading everyone's responses I guess I can estimate it would cost $35 each way to go to a beach... But what if it's for 7 people? Would it require two separate taxis and cost 70$ each way or are their taxi vans that may cost less than 70$ each way? We have 5 kids and am trying to avoid spending thousands on excursions. Is the pool area near the pier nice enough to not go to a beach?
