Thanks for everyone's help. I emailed Mona and she got back to me in less than a hour saying the request was forwarded to the Oasis staff. But I still intend to check as soon as we board on Sunday.
Mona just emailed a visual confirmation from the ship of my dining time change. That's nice of her

Also thanks to the other poster who gave the mgutierrez@rccl.com email contact!
And also thanks to you that gave thanks to the other person .. I now have my dining changed too! 😁
I kinda feel sorry for all the emails Ms gutierrez is currently receiving ...😗

I've tried 3 times to get my dining time switched from Late to Early by emailing over the weeks up to 1 week before departure - no dice!
They dont acknowledge anymore like they used to.
I am now forced to make a personal visit to the Maitre'd when I board in a few days.

The amount of people brainwashed into accepting the over-tipping process on American cruiselines always astonishes me. Corporate America sure have won here.

I sent a request for early seating from Late Seating about a week ago. No response. My cruise is 28 days out. I might wait until the two week mark before resending.

Going on same trip. Just being patient...

Recently, the Cats show has gone to the dogs. Not worth it.

Hopefully Royal goes the Virgin Voyages/Sandals route and just builds staff pay into the cruise fare and then nobody has to worry about gratuities anymore
Comment of the thread! 👆

People removing gratuities is also my biggest pet peeve for the cruise industry!! Most cruise lines use America’s type of pay scale for the service industry so the majority of the staffs income is from tips.
I just don’t see how someone can justify in their mind it’s ok not to pay the people that make their vacation enjoyable. Very selfish type of people I guess. So you are shifting the blame from the cruiseline industry not paying their staff appropriately to the massive guilt trip that has permeated (and been browbeaten and accepted) into the customers to tip to make up that difference. Bah! Tired of this argument. Too many lemmings to try and convert.

I hate being auto-charged gratuities and I remove it as soon as I board. Cruises force this onto cruisers and wont make it a service charge as they would have to declare and probably pay taxes on it. Gratuity and tips should be a personal choice and not shoved down our throat but its the American Way - unfortunately. Nevertheless, I make sure to give certain people padded envelopes at the end of the tip, er trip.

Oh my....I'm so excited for this. We will be on Oasis on Aug. 14 out of Jersey. I have a million questions. Just answer what you can....
1. What night is Formal?
2. On Lobster night, can I get Lobster in the Windjammer?
3. Escape Room?
4. Will you make the cruise sheets available? Do they even give them out...
5. Diamond Lounge?
Ok...I guess that enough. Answer what you can if anything. Have a wonderful cruise. Bon Voyage.
1. 2nd and 6th
2. Lobster is available for additional purchase every night but there is a night when you can get a lobster tail as part of an entree and if you want get the beef medallions and make it a surf and turf.
3. Yes
4. Unknown
5. Yes.

Just a heads up that our party of 8 had a tough time consistently using the chat feature in the RC app while on Wonder of the Seas recently. It was hit or miss as to whether or not folks showed up as "online" even when they were on the onboard wifi. This was across iOS and Android devices. We actually wished we had brought walkies with us. Don't count on the chat for reliable real-time communications.
Our family of 8 has walkies set to a unique channel with privacy mode so we dont hear other parties. Always worked for us.

Arriving on the Oasis this Sunday. Thinking of just visiting Cocoa Village for a while. Is there a local bus that goes to/from the village from the Cruise Port - or are we left to Ubering it? Thanks

I shall be on this cruise too. Ill be on the lookout for some cretin taking pictures of winjammer food items etc .. 😁

Every cruise I did was to get those page-sized ziplock plastic bags and place the luggage tag sheet in the ziplock and staple them correctly around a handle on the luggage. Not one has gone missing and saves spending $ on crap on Amazon. El-Cheapo alternative.

I like the curries although it is watered down American style not UK British style - I prefer it spicy.
Least favorite is the swirl they call buffet scrambled eggs.

Very informative - and detailed - review so far. Much obliged.

Anyone enjoying the new menu selections?

I just got off the Liberty on a 5 dayer to Bermuda.
My wife and I agreed that the food in the MDR had gone down in terms of quality. Also, I assume, its because we were on a 5 day cruise, we were not offered a Lobster Tail in our menu selections (except if you wanted to pay the ridiculous $16.99).
I used to love selecting a delicious meal on part cruises on RCL. This time, the meals were like they got a catering school 1st Year student to design the menu. Needless to say, it was a tad disappointing but even more now that this trend is probably going to become the new normal.
