  1. Hi,

We are cruising next year with friends who are vegan. Would love to hear from anyone who has past experience of how well vegans are catered for on MSC or any advice to pass along to my friends.

Maitre D will no doubt be there 1st point of contact once they get on board.

    TIA

Thank you for your help. Yes im  from uk and im trying to book a suite on grandiosa in oct 2019 to the med but will only allow me to book fantastica and not aurea so was a little confused as to whether  drinks were included as it is a suite. Ive also noticed on uk site it includes gratuites in price and hot drinks and water.

If it is for October 23rd 2020 I dont think there is any left. If I'm right we got the last one but it may be worth calling them.

I was looking at these suites a few month back because of price and whirlpool i asked my travel agent to ring and enquire but she was told no whirlpool it’s an IT problem, ended up with a corner angle suite with whirlpool at the front of the ship. Cabin 11009 26/6/20😁

Thanks so much for the info - we moved and are now in your cabin in October next year!!

Thanks again - I'd have been none too pleased if you hadn't clarified for me.

Let me know what you think once you are back!?

  4. Hi

I've held Fantastica suite 12380 for an October cruise next year and it shows a whirlpool balcony in the images but no mention on the option itinerary info.

I'm finding it hard to figure out and remember the pre Seaside debacle with suites!

Any insight would be very welcome please.

  5. Hi, does anyone have update menus or would it be possible to see them when we board?

Keen to pin down a night in advance to do Teppanyaki/Butchers Cut but don't want to inadvertently miss any of my faves from Splendida/Fantasia. Hello Opera Cake [emoji7]

Sent from my SM-A520F using Forums mobile app

  6. Yesterday in Southampton they would not show T.A`s around the YC due to complaints from passengers!

    That's a bit much!!

If you want your TA to be in the know, surely personal knowledge is a good thing! We just had a quick visit so only the main areas, no YC but learned loads and I found it great to be able to compare it to Splendida & Fantasia.

  7. If it’s a ship excursion they will get you back in time. No excursions are showing up at this time. It is in Montego Bay which is 45 minutes away from Falmouth & an hour from Ocho Rios so you would have to allow for that time plus more.

No it would be a private excursion - we would be coming from Ocho Rios (docked there from 9am to 5pm). Unfortunately MSC aren't offering an excursion that takes in Rose Hall.

  8. Hi - apologies, I should have C&P'd the info:

This is taken from the MSC information on excursions:

Discover the history and culture of the Mayan people during a visit to a traditional Mayan Village, then see the natural beauty of Cozumel as you circle the island aboard your comfortable air-conditioned motor coach. You’ll be travelling across the island in an easterly direction to savour stunning views of the island’s untouched coastline. Cozumel has long been home to the Mayan people, dating back over 1,000 years when it was an important stop in the ancient trade routes as well as the center of worship for the Goddess of Fertility, Ixchel. Descendants of these first inhabitants have populated the island since then, and many of their ancient traditions remain strong even today. During your visit to the Mayan Village you will see traditional, thatched-roof Mayan houses, medicinal gardens, cooking techniques, and ceremonies as well as learn about the myths, histories and beliefs of the Mayan World. After your tour of the village, you will travel across the island to town for the folkloric show. The performance showcases Mexico's regional diversity and history – from tribal drumming to mariachi bands, indigenous rituals and romantic ballads. After the exciting show, you’ll also have time to shop for Mexican arts and crafts, perfume, leather goods, jewellery, cigars and alcoholic beverages. The tour then wraps up either with your direct return transfer to the pier or with you remaining in town for some more retail therapy. Please note: guests remaining in town are responsible for their own return to the pier. Guests will be required to sign a waiver which may only be available in English.

  9. Yes, or Falmouth, don’t remember.

Aaah this was my question - I know it is near Falmouth but I wanted to ask if it would be foolish to try do it from Ocho Rios!

Glad you enjoyed it - it sounds so interesting!
